I want a baby dragon. Apparently they have the same intelligence level as a mabari and a miniature version of the new dragon design would be cute.

Plus, when Alistair makes his cameo and tries to baby talk the dragon like he did the mabari, our dragon can set him on fire.

That was weird, considering that the Warden actually owned one in the vanilla game and not through DLC. Though they brought it back in Witch Hunt.

Witch Hunt did explain the dog's absence in Awakening.

I don't remember any explanation.

They were using him for breeding to replace the mabari they lost in the blight.

Thor dropped one of his shopping list when he was traveling among worlds. What he to to buy was organised in 3 categories : what he had to get for himself, for his brother and his father. 

A mabari breader found it in a pound and the only 3 eligible words were the names.

A baby dragon ? That's so Daenerys . If they don't add a mabari friend, I would prefer if they gave me this type of baby

I'd wouldn't mind a mabari. TBH though I'd rather they devote resources to developing a full companion vs another pet. I only used Muffin (my warden's dog) in the earliest parts of the game, rarely keeping him in my active party after Lothering.

A raven would be okay I guess (or maybe it's a Crow)? Though pigeons would be more reliable as messengers I think?

Well, we *might* not be Ferelden, so no Mabari for us then, and the Qunari Inquisitor likely wouldn't have one. My guess is for a summon like in DA2, if it happens at all. And if we stick with the two companions from each class as was established in Awakening and continued in DA2, then they're unlikely to use a companion slot on a pet, however awesome.

Well its December why not get a pet Raindear? personaly i want a Golem.
