He'd be perfect as the sarcastic squad member who's just there for fun and doesn't take the mission seriously.

With that said, I wonder if we'll actually hear from anyone of the current cast members since they plan on departing from "Shepard's story". I'm terrible with names, but I'd be willing to bet on Mark Meer and that woman that does Morrigan/Admiral Ran/Matriarch Athetya (spelling?) because of their versatility and talent.
I'd rather they hired actors that could voice multiple roles (and little recognition) and cut down on costs so that they could focus more on...well, the rest of the game.

Aaron Paul as wise cracking helmsman vis a vis "Joker". Funnily enough I'm not a big fan of Breaking Bad like the majority ( it was enjoyable, no doubt), but I just like the dude as a person.

Lockout was a great movie with a modest budget. Excellent script, excellent casting, and produced by Luc Besson.Mcfly616 wrote...
yeah, he became my first choice after seeing
Lockout (I know, not a great film. But certainly a short and enjoyable
B-action flick.) His dry humor and likable rogue qualities were spot-on
for what I'd like to see in a live-action movie starring Shepard.
Because
he's the hero. But not the uptight stickler. He's the guy that saves
the day his way and sticks it to 'the Man' at the same time. Total
badassery.

Mark Meer, Jennifer Hale, Freddie Prinze Jr.
the rest are debatable, but these 3 are NOT debatable.

Bah, please not a wannabe comedian as a main protagonist. Watching the trailer for Lockout was already painful. I'd rather have the quiet and professional type like Liam Neeson in Taken. If renegade, he should be able to screw people up like Robert De Niro did with Sean Bean in Ronin.

Guy Pearce as Shepard would actually be a good choise if he played more like he did in Memento or L.A. Confidential.
