In Mass Effect 1, you can choose from a variety of rounds for enemies, of course. I usually stick to either Tungsten or Shredder Rounds for synthetic and organic enemies, respectively. However I've never actually figured out what to use on Husks, because they are partly both. Does anyone know which round mod gives the better damage increase for them?

Anti-Personal/Shredder Rounds give extra damage to husks in ME1.

I've always tended to play Mass Effect as a pure Soldier; biotics never occur to me! So I think I'll confer to Red Caesar's advice and go with Shredder rounds!

You don't even use Liara, because she is a prime example of how useful biotics can be. Hell, Wrex or Kaidan's throw is great for when a pack of Husksor Thorian Creepers get too close.

Also, I am playing a non-soldier character for the first time and, frankly, it is a much more fun experience. I am playing an Engineer who takes out weapons/shields and let heavy bitters like Ashley, Garrus, and Wrex do most of the damage. It's a very different yet fer fun experience. Of course a charging Krogan or Prime and I am screwed but, hey.

And, yeah, Shredder rounds are what you need for husks.

For ME1 I never noticed much of a difference tbh. In ME2 (as an adept) however; standing in a singularity with a shotgun works for me :)

Derrr... Just read my comment and hate myself >.< (should refrain from posting when sleepy)

I do stand in a singularity as a tactic for dealing with husks, but no shotgun (obviously). Incineration rounds from squad member standard.
