Bioware loves their stock animations- our characters always loop and cross their arms in conversations. Now that we have dwarves back, can we get a beard stroking animation that plays in coverations?
Please Bioware, we need this
YES!

While technically not applicable as beards arent a cultural thing for Dwarves in the Dragon Age universe it would have made an interesting statement as Varric isnt your typical dwarf as his attitude is more that of a surfacer than that of a dwarf, not sure dwarven customs and traditions mean all that much to him.Irenicuz wrote...

Life without heresy would be pretty boring.

Hair is not so hard to animate, as some might think. It does not require a special computer dedicated to hair. In fact, it could be done several years ago on a single gpu. Here is a demo by nvidia

A dwarven lady should damn well be allowed to grow some fabulous facial hair, dammit.

I generally prefer the stubble but having some options for full on beards would be nice for once.

Ah, yes, the neckbeard. The quintessential part for overweigt, basement-dwelling, pasty geeks.ruggly wrote...
Neck beards and peach fuzz for all.
Neckbeards never looked good.
Old school neckbeard, and still looking odd as hell.

I support this thread, and everyone in it.
Most importantly, I support a wide variety of epic facial hair for PC Inquisitors. Whether sideburns, moustache, goatee, or full epic beard with braids and jewelry, I want a nice selection of facial hair.
(You can leave off Nathaniel's sad little soul patch, though. That thing is just embarrassing.)

I'll settle for beards that don't destroy the features of the lower half of my face.
That's the beards job in Rl as well.

Beards get all the attention, what about the mustache? Nothing says Dragonslayer like a handsome blonde mustache, stiffened and spiked with wax into a glorious handlebar.

Blonde mustaches are no match for void black mustaches.

I hope that this time I can give my character sideburns without his cheeks getting all sunken...
