Returning to this thread to ask: does anyone have a quick, easy way to create robes for other races/phenotypes, starting from a normal human robe? I always used NWN Armory for body parts (making individual tweaks afterwards, of course). However, different body parts scale differently, and robes combine some of these differently scaling parts. Any ideas or suggestions? If not, I'll just do everything by hand, but I reckoned it was worth asking first. Thanks! ![]()
My reason for asking is that I was thinking that I should share the corset robes that I mentioned in this thread, but I should really do the work of making them for all races first. I do hope to eventually getting around to making some new robes for male characters, but I admit that it's going to stay on the long finger for a bit.

I always just use the Armour Maker under robes/armor/skin in NWMax. It seems to work pretty well.

Thanks! As a newbie robe maker, I had never used this tool. ![]()

This was surprisingly easy. I am now the proud owner of corset robes for all races, though I will need to tweak them a little. Thanks a million! ![]()

I'm 50% sure that all you have to do with a skinmesh robe is to duplicate and rename it and change the setsupermodel to the right one for the target race and pheno. When it loads the model, the engine adjusts the positions of the bones to correspond to the ones in the supermodel and the skin gets pulled with them.

Just to clarify what OMB said...
- You need a skinmesh robe correctly scaled for each race/gender.
- Each phenotype then needs a set of robes with the supermodel set to the correct phenotype master (e.g. the pheno master for "phenotype 10 human male" is "pmh10")
- Thus, one skinmesh robe variant for all races/genders would have 12 models for each phenotype (6 male versions and 6 female versions).
Look at q_robe.hak and you'll see exactly what I mean.
I'm 100% certain of the above ![]()

The robe I am tweaking for all races at the moment is just the one I posted towards the bottom of the previous page of this thread.
I do have a few other bits and pieces that I'm working on, e.g. a dress version of the Caladnei robe:

Most of the clothing, heads, and tiles that I've made for my own module have been just sitting around in various states of releaseworthiness, when they could have been shared with others instead. For the time being, my outlet for making new stuff is going to remain the elven treetop city tileset, but parallel to that I want to bring the miscellaneous stuff to a standard where they could be used by others.
