Lorik Quin just asked me not to get blood on the carpets in his office. Sure thing, Loirk, considering there are no carpets in your office. Or on Noveria, for that matter. Or anywhere in the MEverse that I can recall. So, are there any carpets in the MEverse that I might soil with someone's blood?

Because BioWare would have to spend too many moneys to model a carpet.

What's the name of that drink that Commander Shepard supposedly endorsed in ME2? The soda machine next to the Sirta Foundation store says that Commander Shepard drinks it, but I can't remember the name.

Edit: you edited your post while I was typing my reply.

Where does that happen? I've lost count of how many times I played ME2, but I've never come across being able to endorse a drink.

You don't... It's propaganda, to influence costumers to buy simply 'cause "Commander Shepard does it, we will all do it" (LOL Conrad Verner). You can find the Machine when entering the Warehouse where you do Garrus' Loyalty misson. It's in the left. On the other side of the Refund Guy and the Salarian.

I don't know where you are from, but to my mind you just pointed out a RUG.

Generally, a carpet completely covers a floor (as in wall to wall carpeting).  Because a carpet generally does this, we are probably seeing carpets all over the place, but not noticing them because the texture of the piles aren't being rendered by the game engine.

At the very least, I can assure you that the floor of the Casino is carpeted.  And because of Lorik Qui'in's comment, you can be pretty sure the Synthetic Insights offices are too.

Looks like concrete to me, just like the walls.

Nope, that's a wall to wall carpet as opposed to any carpet. A carpet doesn't have to be wall to wall. Where the dividing line between a rug and a carpet lies I don't know.
