Tarohne is out there. You do however get to say a few things to her about her being barking mad or something. Grace, if you help her, makes no sense whatsoever that she turns on you like that. She doesn't even have dialogue that acknowledges that you helped her and then she could say, "but this is bigger than that" or whatever.
Just something so that the gameplay necessity matches up with the story line. Petrice they needed alive for the story later. But then if so, why meet with her back at the abandoned hovel where you could easily choke her?
Why not at the Chantry? Or have Hawke make a move and have one of the companions say, "No, not here. Not now. Another time we'll get her." But the PC just letting ppl prance off does get frustrating.
I understand that sometimes for game and story reasons you either have to battle, or can't battle. Just give me a reasonable explanation for Why instead of PC went derp mode.

Hold on. One group is trying to prepare mages for fending off demonic possession. The other one is using blood magic to force demons into the bodies of templars. There is a BIG difference.
Yeah by summoning a fricken pride demon after you by force. That is not preparing mages to fend off demonic possession. It's leading mages to their deaths. Theirs no way that an mere apprentice can defeat a pride demon.
I honestly can't tell the difference.

Taronhe was a little cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. Plus that blue lip thing was really creepy.
In all seriousness, the rest of her face was creepy/ugly enough as it is, without that light blue lipstick! BioWare's lead character designer for Dragon Age really needs to look at their characters, before they judge them as acceptable. There were many characters in DA2 that were hella ugly. Tarohne, Mekel, Danarius, Emile de Launcet, etc. And then there were the update/redesign for Alistair and Zevran...

Actually, I liked Zevran's update. But Alistair's was really bad.

You expect bioware to make every single charater in DA look like models? I'm glad that beauty doesn't take over this game, and that things are average. I don't want to play DA to become like barbie.

I think her make-up was intentionally ugly, on account of Tarohne being a litle bat**** crazy.

The Warden was protected by Bioware's powerful god mode spell
It's too bad that you couldn't get yourself possessed by Mouse. I'd like to see Irving and the templars attack me with my new set of demonic powers. It would have been fun to see

I never said the characters HAD to be good looking. I was just saying that there was some really poor design choices for characters in the game. If a character has to be hideously ugly - like Tarohne - then there should be a reason for it. There was no reason for her to have pale blue lipstick and a faint tattoo, yet it happened.Lord Raijin wrote...

Seriously, why was there EVER an option for Hawke to have a monk's hairstyle, plus stubble on the bald patch? It was ugly as hell, and NO ONE used it in a serious character's design. Maybe in an intentionally ugly one, someone did, but not in their main game or one of the side/other main games.
As for Alistair and Zevran, they really failed to capture their appearances from Origins. Especially Alistair and that hidesouly shaped nose he had.

But, if the pride demon could possess other Mages, then no one would pass the Harrowing. So, either the Pride Demon was an abnormal occurrence or he could not possess you without you giving him the go-ahead. The latter is a test on the level of an apprentice Mage.

At long as the NPC's don't look like this

I'm ok with ones apperence... even if they have blue lipstick.

I get that Bioware was trying to age them up (since it's what, almost a decade after DAO?) but yeah.

Too bad that I wasn't able to let him posses me. I would LOVE to have new set of powers where I can transform into a badass pride demon with badass powers

I would be like "Hey templars!"
(transform into a badass Pride demon)
"suck on this!" in a sinister voice.

They can try if they can. Not sure they can deal with a mage possessed by a pride demon

This may be nasty, but I DO so love it when a mage suppoter calls out another mage supporter who's an extremist on their extremism.
Keep it up, bro.
