Show us some shin, you saucy bitch.

I wish more western women wore dresses instead of skimpy or androgynous attire.

A very elegant dame that is.

Dunno. What does it say?

That they take irrational actions for an illusion of power.

Now, before you go posting a tedious meme, please be aware I take no pleasure in repeating this sort of thing. It's just the truth. To paraphase Wednesday in American Gods, people like to think they're the first ones ever to experience their unique and personal problems. But the reality is, it's the same old issues seen again and again.

So you're generalizing that everyone in that very moment, saying those exact things... are wanting a power fantasy?

What they want is power.

They want to 'hurt' something or someone, and this is their only means of doing so. Their only weapon. So this is what they do.

It doesn't work, obviously. But I suppose with enough mental gynastics it can be a convincing enough illusion.

I think it took some pretty incredible mental gymnastics to reach the illusion that David has thoroughly convinced himself of.

And time and again, you've shown that you're no exception. Especially when you presume to state the complexity of fellow human beings based on your own very subjective perspective of life. You have a problem with being vicarious.

It's okay.

It didn't 'open my eyes' or anything like that. It didn't reveal any grand truths to me.

Heroic things? What things must they be? A sign that says 'there be dragons'?

They're more complicated than you seem to believe, than the simplicity you try and project on them.

Why do you do that, David? Do you desire control? Do you not have the power you want in your own life?

Okay, thanks for the answer. I like it a lot, but it didn't reveal any grand truths to me either.
