I'm frustrated that ME3 didn't learn its lesson IMO

I swear Kanye West has said this, word for word.

I don't presume to be a complicated person at all. I would imagine it would be very easy for someone to predict things I do and the reasons I do them.

What they want is power.

They want to 'hurt' something or someone, and this is their only means of doing so. Their only weapon. So this is what they do.

It doesn't work, obviously. But I suppose with enough mental gynastics it can be a convincing enough illusion.

You really have a problem with this don't you?

Maybe you should consult Dr. Phil for help.

But is that a good thing, David? See me? I'm generally unpredictable as fcuk. I like it that way.

Vega's underrated, but I probably wouldn't put him above "most" of the previous two games' cast members.

Javik? <3

Before ME3 came out I thought Vega would be a useless waste of space (literally since he wastes a squad spot). Now... I guess I find him a pretty likeable waste of space.

BioWare made a great game, they deserved most of the reviews they got, but too many people are too damn focused on the ending. Get over it by now.

I was more focused on the actual game, tbh.  Endings weren't my problem when I finished it.

Not really. I enjoyed Rannoch and Tunchanka and some other stuff as much as the next person but thinfgs like Thessia, Cruible ect are just plain horrible.

Okay. What I liked and didn't like abt ME3-

Liked:
1) Tuchanka and Rannoch--I liked them because the missions were long and layered. There was alot going on. You got a real feel for the cultures, and some nice backstory. You got to see the homeworlds. Lots of emotion.

2) Geth Homeworld--it was just fun.

3) Combat

4) Squaddies talked more on missions. I really liked that. It felt natural the way they interacted with each other and the situation. (I especially liked the lil bit on the Ardhat Yakshi mission when someone kicked a bottle or can and the other squaddies said, "What was that?!?" and the other squaddie said, "Oh, that was me . Sorry." I like those lil touches w/the dialogue and the squad.

There's more I liked, but can't remember right now.

Did Not Like:

1) The lack of dialogue options. This is something I loved abt BW games. I know it was really just the same lines in ME1 no matter what you picked. But I wanted BW to get better w/the dialogue options, not phase them out.

2) Prevalence of auto-dialogue. I can understand some, but it went too far for me in ME3.

3) Abrupt intro. I'm sorry, but Shep being locked up and the Normandy confiscated is a big deal, and deserved more than a couple throw away lines while walking down the hall.

4) Abrupt ending. I don't care abt the Catalyst. For me the Post Crucible firing was just a friggin heavily edited, thrown together mess.

5) Kai Leng. He was dull. I was looking fwd to this guy, and he was cardboard. Despite the Npc's trying to convince me otherwise.

6) Too many loading screens on the Citadel. Too much schlepping around the Citadel.

7) Too dark and quiet on the Normandy.

8) No Palaven. Thessia mission was very small. Not like Tuchanka and Rannoch.

edit: oh, but no. 1 is no visual representation of war assets in action

And somehow you think predictibility is the same as being uncomplicated?

This

ME3 is an above 90 MC game, and along with ME2, Bioware's best selling game.

Other than developing an ending, they don't need to learn a "lesson"

And really, I don't think you want to compare ME3's flaws with most other Bioware games.

I would agree that many people are too focused on the ending. I kind of resent that it takes all the attention away from any other criticism or assessment. There's a lot else to talk about ME3, for better or worse.

But if someone has a problem with any kind of criticism at all, they need to get used to it. Not everyone can like the same things equally. The world would suck if that was the case anyhow. :)

Well put! You hear that, BW? Continue striving for mediocrity!:wizard:
