Unacceptable. It's their lobby. If you don't want to play with them you know where the door is. Never seen it happen but I've heard of it happening. Anyone who intentionally votes to kick the host is a piece of ****. Not talking about you though. I know you didn't realize when you voted.

I stay no matter what. I love playing with lower level players, especially when they have a mic...usually hilarious. But it forces me to play better as I know I am going to need to get the backpack ready. Besides, we all remember what it was like to be a little green at the game...and quite honestly, second to actual gameplay, spectating at earlier levels was what helped me l2p.

I still remember my jump to gold, and I believe my first match on ps3 was with BDaddy1968 who took a couple bronze scrubs that night, hung back and watched us each play a little, bumped to silver, same thing, hung back and again making sure we were doing ok, before moving up to gold. All quarian match on FBW vs Reaper that didnt end in success, but I learned a lot from watching a player better than myself.

After that match, I began practicing the things I learned, and I still will surf lower difficulties to see if I can help some players make the jump.

Kicking the host is far too time consuming but whatever floats your boat OP.

Kinda depends on what weapon was level I. Under my friend's login I've been doing okay with a GPSG I or a Hurrdurricane II in Gold PUG lobbies.

But usurping the host's lobby? He was probably like: wait... WAT?!?

We had a host who wouldn't use any equipment once. Two votes went up, so I joined in. Saved us a host migration during the game.

A lot of hosts deserve to be kicked, usually for not readying up. In that case I'd just leave the lobby though.

Y'know, that's a good point. I had a problem with a host dragging his/her ass in the lobby. Host eventually readied up, but spent the entire match hiding in a corner, doing nothing. At first I didn't notice because I was on the other side of the map spitting mad Venom at fools. But I started paying attention when I noticed people constantly going down in the attempt to revive the host.

The Host would move every so often, I guess, to avoid getting booted or whatever, but in no way was he'she contributing.

Extraction Wave comes up. We've got maybe 15 seconds left, and the Host bounces. Everything glitches to hell and back and instead of the wave restarting, we all lose our connection to the game.

I message'd the person afterwards and he/she said, "Oh, I was AFK! So sorry!"

Whatever. I think there are good reasons to kick a host, and avoiding Host Migration in-game is damn sure one of those reasons.

There's a lot of legitimate reasons to kick the host, including not preparing for the fight.
1. If you recall the whole reason for the timer change in lobbies was because hosts/other players wouldn't ready up.
2. The host has clearly created lobby for leeching, but the other players don't want to migrate because they know they'll have a good game.
3. The host is playing music, making noises (or background noise) over his mic and refuses to turn it off (I had this happen 3 weeks ago).
4. The host completely trashes the previous game, then immediately readies up for the next game (usually best to leave lobby but also see #2).
5. Host is trolling lobby (repeatedly hit kick on other players, going in and out of store, etc).

Kicking the host doesn't happen often in my experience but there's legit reasons for doing it.
