At least when you romance Anders you get a package of 2 instead of one. Justice seems to be rather cute if you ask me :)

He certainly betrayed me in my game. I refuse to return him to his master and at the end, as I sided with the mages he turned his back on me. He decided that he wanted to fight me to the death when I was located at templars headquaters in the gallows.

Fenris is an ****. Plain in simple.

Sucks for you that you didn't know how to talk to him cause you were too busy either ignoring him or being an ass about mages and you demanded that he toe the line while you endanger his well being. Most likely with terrorist Anders alive to boot.

Fenris isn't a bootlicker.

You're right. I don't know how to kiss Fenris @ass for the sole purpose to raise up his approval level. When it comes to his views about mages I flat out disagree.

And, yet, as a pro mage, I myself romanced him AS A MAGE and found him a hell of a lot better than Anders. You don't have to agree with everything that he says about mages. Just don't treat him like crap, and he will fight on your side in the Gallows.

Right, Fenris's opinions on the mages are actually far more reasonable than most give him credit for.

He admires Hawke and Bethany as strong mages.
He respects Hawke even when he disagrees with him.
Admits that all mages are not the problem only those weak enough to turn to abominations. He simply states that he doesn't have any other solutions for dealing with them.

Expects more than just "Mage freedom" derp! as a valid opinion.

Will turn his back on the Templars if reminded of the similarities between slavery and what is happening to the mages in Kirkwall.

So yeah you can flat out disagree with him and he will still help you.

Besides, the kiss Anders lays on a Rival Hawke...Hot dayum! Now I'm totally convinced he and Fenris were gettin' it on hate-style.

And I'm sure that Fenris would do the same if you surrendered Anders to the templars knowing that he will become tranquil or be executed. It goes both ways.

What does that have anything to do with it? As if I were taking Fenris' side? I'm not talking about the dynamics of their relationship, I'm talking about Anders' blatant hypocrisy in spite of his 'manifesto'.

So I guess the example we're setting here is "Slavery and abuse is wrong... Unless it happens to someone I don't like!"

You know what? I'm not even going to consider talking about your ridiculous points. They have no footing to stand on as they assume that the Chantry rules over everything and cannot be toppled, which is easily can. The Chantry sh*ts their pants in 20 colours when it comes to blood mages and if it is required for blood magic and demons to topple the Chantry's hold on mages then that is necessary.

"Indoctrination" by the Chantry can easily be battled with education, as has been proven in our own history as well. (Christianity was toppled as soon as things such as humanism came to existance)

You are extremely biased and this thread was brought up in existence to talk about ideas to get a proper, non-oppressive system that functions for both mages as well as templars. Considering you use ridiculous "what if" situations and throw the power of the Chantry (that is build on lies, I might add. And a foundation made of lies is not very strong) to support your anti-mage ideology you basically have no reason to be here. You hate mages because you think they are ticking time-bombs and a danger to your character as well as to the world, yet is this very magic that has helped shape the Dragon Age universe to what it is and magic is not just a curse, it is also a gift. I applaud Bioware for being able to convince people like you with biased Codex entries that magic is inherently evil.

Cheers.

PS. I like how you think the Chantry is evil and corrupted, yet at the very same time you completely accept and embrace their concept that magic is inherently evil, which is a lie that is obviously established to prevent mages from power as their offense has, as of yet, no counter measure. Fear is a great weapon to rule and you are caught in it.

Chantry rules and will rule this as long they won't be brutally overthrown you should figure answer now after 2 games and how chantry deal with things and what that leads to...

Chantry won't allow on such things and before that every will be allowed to learn it is long time chantry want power and are fanatics so they will do everything to keep their position.

There is no no-opresive system templars and non-mages want safety when they don't care about mages and often hate them for being different so if they will end in charge they will abuse (watch circles) and mages want freedom what means that they will be great danger for world and they will have to protect themselves to keep that position because non-mages will want take it.So deal with that humans are too di*** to not abuse mages when get power to rule them and mages freedom will destroy world or end like teviner. Simple peoples hate others for smaller things and differences and it will never end.

If im biased because well i mock every idea mages should huge with templars and then we will have eternal peace or mock that same ideas that was and didn't worked well yes then im biased.

I don't hate mages i m just telling truth they are ticking bombs and threat and i will eliminate every threat whether it is not mage or not.you are right about that magic helped shape dragon age universe but it did it in very negative way magic provided very littlle and destroyed civilizations and caused many rly many problems for peoples living in thedas.Magic is curse why simple because it provides a little for user and well takes so much that it isn't even for comparison/It is like yay you can heal your grandma minor injuries nay you can also burn your city at any moment of your life because of demons there is good reason why mages in dragon age ended as example of this .

Well evil is rather matter of your own opinion and i rly don't care about morality all i care is corruption which isn't good for business and their incompetence that causes mora and more trobules in practice they are nothing more than sadists who try explain kicking dogs as necessary evil and keeping victims alive with fu*** morality which often is hypocrisy ultimately thead lead to many magical incydents that caused damage im not sadist im simple get rid of danger quickly killing mages and finally remove danger of abomnations and demons from the world.

I don't think that magic is "evil" that same for blood magic ,i am not interested in chantry twisted morals not in any other morals.Simple all i care it is me and effectiveness... I see that in that way

Mages-many destructive incidents caused by them some of them are on global scale-world destruction is bad for my business-their circles absorb money and time and incidents are still being continued- kill mages remove the threat save money and time dealing with problem ultimately to the moment that new mage will born then repeat process.

You complain that we shouldn't paint all mages with the same brush, yet you have no problem doing that with all revered mother's just because 1, (maybe two?  I'm pretty sure the girl in lothering didn't get mad.) start calling names?  Hypocrisy at its finest.

What I'm trying to say is that anyone who associates themselves with the Chantry shouldn't be called "Innocent" because the Chantry is a large problem at what goes on in Thedas. No religious organization should be this powerful and they should not run the Circles. That job is for the countries leaders; Kings/Queens Emperor/Empress/etc.

While I agree with the seperation of church and state, the rest of what you said on the subject is rediculous. By your logic, Fereldens should kill all Orlesians because they follow the Orlesian crown who abused their ancestors.

And as for the Chantry sisters in the building being innocent, the reason is because they had nothing to do with abusing the mages. Again, that's like blaming the population of a country for what their military or government did.

And because of his acts, Anders holds the "honor" of the first companion in a Bioware game I kill on a continuing basis. I will not support anyone who destroyed a building with civilians in it.

No no no and no.

I rather see Meredith and Orsino plus Cassandra having a steamy 3 some... or perhabs a 4 some by inviting Anders for the ride too?

So we would have 1 Templar 1 Seeker and 2 mages. All performing a peace ritual with love :)

Well, both Anders and Fenris are bisexual, or playersexual depending on opinion of concept, so this is more likely to happen than your scenario.

Speaking of Fenris/Anders romance:

No theirs still guilty. They should fallow what Templar Keran did by getting out and actually do good in society. Perhabs find a way to actually help mages rather than to preach the chant of light.

They ARE doing good in society.
As part of the Chantry you hate so much.

And f*** the mages. That seems to be your only criteria for "good" - and it's as broken as a criteria can possibly be.

The Chantry is that... the Chantry. I'm blaming everyone who is involved in the Chantry, both the higher ups and the low ranked members. they're both equally responsible.

And I'm blaming every mage that rebels for wanting to rebel and by doing that expose the populace to danger.
They are guilty and should be put to death.
