YOU ARE DEHUMANIZING THEM! Did you not read the whole thing? THEY WOULD NOT GET ANYMORE RIGHTS IN  A GENERATION OR TWO! MORE RIGHTS WOULD BE TAKEN FROM THEM!!! THEY WOULD BE MADE INTO WORK ANIMALS!

Also MAGES CAN CONTROL THEIR ****ING POWER! THEY ARE NOT BOMBS WAITING TO GO OFF!

God I hate Cullen. If he is in the next game then I hope there is an option to kill him. Or at least hand him over to some blood mages.

That wouldn't do much to foster Mage/Templar relations.

Doesn't matter to them all they really want is more violence

Yeah because they are so great it is imposible templars will hate and abuse mages as any other group with complete power above other simple someone will abuse other end of the story.

No but it would make me feel better and my Warden Amell would love my Inquisitor for it.

He was her creepy staker templar.

That would make controlling them far easier certainly.

:P

Wouldn't need to control them, let them out in the wild. They're still dangerous but there wouldn't be enough to warrant funding so many Templar and you wouldn't need to worry about them becoming posessed due to lack of capabilities.

How it doesn't have sense give someone complete power above someone and that person will abuse it example templars and mages in tevinter both don't have to fear consequences so they abuse weaker.

Templars aren't natural, they're just normal people that eat lyrium. Eating that stuff rots their minds and they go crazy in various degrees, some helpful crazy like a couple templars in DAO (boat guy and funeral chantry guy) or bad crazy (Half the Templars in DA2).

Mages though are a natural thing, they're born that way and grow into their powers. It'd be better if mage training / education was given to all people. Everyone should study magic in classes right after language, math, gym, etc in school. While not everyone would have the talent to preform spells, they'd at least learn about magic and be better educated about it. A stronger social group with better emotional bonds to help each other would mean well trained mages able to take on their demons in the fade and less likely to become aboms.

Eh that's just my two cents, back to watching Misfits on Hulu.

Well, that's a good idea.....except Thedas doesn't have a school system.  The closest they're only just approaching now is the universities in Orlais and the one Anora's said to start up if made queen.

Thedas royalty should increase taxes, build more schools, then build towns around those schools for housing and trade. Also, they'd need to improve roads as well, gotta make it easier for travelers. There needs to be hope, change for the future.

Sadly most royalty won't do anything to help. They'll say the rent is too damn high. That apostates have calves the size of cantalopes. Or that 47% of the peasants just wants handouts.

@TheKomanderShepard: Is English your second language? It must be because I can never understand a thing you write. Unless I retread your post three or four times.

No but I wasn't last in my class like you were. Learn a language before you try using it. You should invest in Rosetta Stone. That way you don't look like you just got off the short bus.

Just out of curiosity Dave, have you ever thought that having a community in general for mages rather than a single or bunched up buildings would help out more in the case of keeping mages in a specific area?  It could also potentially allow mages to get involved with other communities and activities rather than just the fraternities or whatever else it is the mages usually do.  Of course, putting them in a community also increases the risk of apostates unless the place is very well fortified to a certain degree.

So you mean something like an Alienage, except like if you do the City Elf origin they get their own representative in the nation's court? Hopefully better treated, of course or else it will just cause animosity to rise.
