How can you sit there and criticize Anders for letting Jusitce use his body as a host when Merril was striking deals with demons? How is she a much better person then Anders?

She learned it from a sealed Demon who wouldn't be a problem unless some idiot intentionally releases it. And she know's then it's still dangerous, that's why she asks Hawke to kill her if something went wrong when she wanted to talk to it in A New Path.

Why Merrill is better than Anders

Anders = Meat sack (best description for him ever lol!)
Merrill = Not a meat sack

Anders = "blah blah.....beneficial spirits."
Merrill = "All spirits are dangerous..."

Anders = Test for demons with a weak attack.
Merrill = Uses a method I would consider more credible.

Anders = Don't like my opinions? I'll dance the jig as you get sent into slavery.
Merrill = Begs you not to sell someone into slavery regardless of her relationship with him.

Anders = Can't think of a single companion that truly likes him and it gets worse in Act 3
Merrill= Varric, Isabella, Aveline, and even Carver likes her.

Oh and Anders supports cat rescues and is a cat lover. He puts out milk to feed the homeless cats in Darktown. That gives him far more "better" points than Merrill.

Merrill was the one who actually found a cat with kittens and had to tell Anders about it becaues he's so busy with Mage Freedom and Bad Templars

Doesn't say anything about her adopting any kittens or cats. She was telling Anders about it, thats all. He offer to adopt one if theirs any tabbies in the litter to remember his last cat, Ser-pounce alot.

looks are subjective.

"all spirits are dangerous" doesn't do you credit when you are a blood mage and communicate wih demons via blood on a daily basis.

nonetheless Anders knew he wasn't possessed without harming him.

Fenris wants Anders dead and and approves if you kill anders. So what? Anders can approve Fenris becoming slave agian. It would make ME happy to make someone become a slave if my murder would make that someone happy. Anders approves of Fenris's slavery. Fenris approves of Anders death. as simple as that.

Anders doesn't want to be liked because Justice thinks friendships are distarctions. He only opens to hawke if hawke supports mages.

Merill thinks anders deserves to live because she actually likes him. This becomes obvious when you put anders life to a vote at the end of act 3. besides the only pro mage companions are anders and merril anyway.

Also only anders can save your sibling. you mad?
