Can we make the Inquisitor a pompous jerk like the Dwarf Nobel was in Origins?

If the role playing options to interact aren't as broad as dao then I'm done with bioware.

Remember in the beginning of Origins during the Dwarf Nobel origin when you could have your character talk to people through Gorim? I want my Inquisitor to get a big head and be like "Verric why is this person talking to me?"
Noble* and Varric*
On-topic: I would LOVE this idea! Hopefully this sort of personality and more are possible in the game! I know voice acting is expensive, but only very few people would be disappointed if there were like 5 or 10 different personalities to choose from... depending on race, I suppose.

Not if bioware follows the da2 or mass effect models. If they go back to dao options then yes.

Looks like you're done with Bioware.

"Varric, tell this peasant that I will not deign to save his village."
"Sir Peasant, his Lordship would like me to tell you he can't help your people because he's had trouble walking ever since a stick was shoved up his ass."

I'd like to see you trying that s**t with Varric.

"Sir Peasant, his Lordship would like me to tell you he can't help your people because he's had trouble walking ever since a stick was shoved up his ass."
He said Verric. Not Varric.
Verric is a pompous noble butler who may optionally accompany the Inquisitor to speak on behalf of him.
Varric is the dwarf who is a used carts salesmen.
I support the idea but I don't think Bioware will make this an option in every conversation.

When repeatedly spelling Noble as Nobel, it's easy to confuse Verric as referring to the completely different character of Varric.

So much better than the other "negative" personalities they always put in.

Would be fun to be a foppish dandy to.
This. I like this. Imagine a Qunari running around in fabulous clothing, criticizing his soldiers for their ugly "practical" armor.

That was my favourite origin. After a conversation with some noble dude Gorim comes up to you. "Do you want to have him killed?"
"Gorim, why is this man speaking to me?"
"Because he has forgotten his place."
Foppish Orlesian would be fun too.

Ooooh nice. "Fight? in these shoes? but they mite get dirty. "
"And how could you possibly expect me to fight in my best shoes?! Are you insane? Yes, yes... Yes, I understand that the Templars are destroying the city but I simply must find a matching outfit for these 'boots' you insist I wear!"
