I love playing Mass Effect and totally went crazy when mass effect 3 came out on my wii u but it's annoying now. I want to be able to play all the other single player DLC like Leviathan, Omega and Citadel but it hasn't been released onto Wii U. Can we please get this for Wii U owners? We badly want it!!!! I just don't get why it can't be offered...
also, could we get the rest of the trilogy on Wii u? It's been confusing only having the 3rd and final game on Wii u and leaving out the other amazing mass effect games
More Mass Effect on Wii U

Yeah, I don't have a Wii U but it's hard to argue that Nintendo fans got screwdriver over. Hell, I don't even understand the point of putting ME3 on the system without the other two. I mean, it's a great game but it is so much better with a transferred character.

As far as i know, the relationship between Nintendo and EA isn't that good at the moment and there is no EA game in development for the Wii U... So i don't see a chance there in the near future.

I didn't understand why they put the game on wii u as well. At E3 2011, EA showed Mass Effect 2 and 3 on Wii U and we got ME3. Don't get me wrong, I love ME3 and it's fun on Wii U but still, it seems like EA and BioWare only hurt themselves by not putting the whole trilogy package (which came out at the same time on Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 as ME3 came on Wii U) out. Plus I don't get why the 3 DLC's can't be released. It's basically EA and BioWare giving half a product to Nintendo owners and expecting it to sell well...

This isn't isolated to EA. Other companies like Ubisoft and WB are skipping the Wii U when it comes to DLC. Assassins Creed 4 isn't getting DLC, Arhkam isn't getting DLC. This just seems the trend, if the system can improve sales then I'm sure more 3rd parties would invest time into porting content over... though at the same time companies arn't porting content over as they don't want to put the development costs into taking advantage of Wii U exlcusive features.

Its upsetting because it seems like third party companies don't understand that in order to begin driving sales to the Wii U, third parties must support it ~ and in this case be willing to take that first leap of faith

It is unfair that EA just left fans hanging like that. I know some people on other platforms that were put off of the series because not all the games were available at the time. Surely releasing the full trilogy would have been a good way to open up the series to a new fanbase?
It's been said that the Frostbite engine isn't compatible with the Wii U (yet?) so that rules out the next Mass Effect game as well. The first three use the Unreal engine though so ME1 and ME2 could be ported if there were any plans to do it.

It's more to do with the install base and existing game sales. From what has been reported EA games did not sell well on the Wii U. The system actually got the best version of Need For Speed: Most Wanted but it sold quite poorly. So based on the sales and the current market share the Wii U has they felt it was not financially viable to port games to the system.
I bet the would re-evaluate this once the Wii U sees a greater increase in console sales.
Other companies have done similar things, Ubisoft was originally going to relase one or two games as Wii U exclusives but they double backed on that due to poor sales of existing games.

Mass Effect 3 for Wii U is, according to numbers, the best selling EA game on Wii U and it just barely sold 100,000 copies worldwide. As bad as that number might sound, considering Wii U has 4 million consoles sold, that's not a terrible percentage... I know BioWare said never say never when it came to more mass effect on Wii u but it would be nice to get the series on Wii U or at least DLC before the new game comes out to other consoles
