OP I just started playing again after my d3 itch was scratched, although still play that too, but sent you an FR through BSN feel free to send me an FR GT = PSN I have still quite a few active friends who play, but will also do some pug'n with you if no one is on. Tonight wont happen as it is my company xmas party, so I will probably be way to plastered to even play bronze

It's like every 2 days this thread gets made, yet I can't understand how. I have no problem getting into a game within 3 minutes of loading into multiplayer.

Once again, no it's not. The playerbase is smaller than it was six months ago, but it's far from dead. I can open a Plat lobby and have it fill up in a few minutes, or get quick matched into a random difficulty (usually silver/gold) within seconds.

I only ever play this game with friends or solo. Pugs I got bored of, they can't carry me. :/

Well, i used to have the same problem, dlc and everything, i don't know how but i guess i fixed xD, I play all the time, like every day a couple of hours..

I run into new players quite a bit on silver and bronze I try to help them out so they can play gold/platinum.

call me LOLNOOB but i prefer play silver to Low the Risk being teamed by some Ignorant Newbie on Gold or plat. I hate to lose

Unfortunately it is true. You know the player base is very small when you create a game on gold, wait a few minutes and no one joins. Or you are thrown into games in progress with such abysmal lag that you have to leave (only to discover you consumables are gone). Compare this with Dawn of War 2 Retribution Last Stand (a similar game to ME3 multiplayer). The number of active online players has been well < 1000 for quite a long time (not all of them playing multiplayer, mind you) and yet finding a game hardly ever lasts more than 1 minute. In comparison, my guess is that the number of active ME3 players at any time may be 100-300 at most. This may continue into forseeable future, but the game is hardly flourishing now.

ME MP isn't dead, at least not on Xbox. I meet about 2 new people a day while I'm running thru bronze and silver matches for kicks. As far as gold/plat.. well yeah.. it's diminished quite a bit. My two squads have since moved on some time ago. Make way and let the new guys have some fun.

I couldnt agree more Max. For the last month or so, I have taken it upon myself to adopt a pug every weekend and dedicate myself to helping them improve. Just trying to do my part.

I am selfish, I want the game to continue, and the only way to do that is to help players take the next step to migrate from Silver to Gold / Platinum

Hi OP! It might be where you're located. Even in other games, I have most difficulty finding players when I'm playing at night in EA/AS time zone. If you're still having trouble finding people, you can add me. =)
