The Tali (and Garrus) romance was juvenile LCD pandering like the playersexual ones in DA2. I "liked" how a human could have sex with a Quarian with no complications.

Not to mention the idea of having sex with a Quarian or Turian is very disgusting and disturbing.

I like how obediantly you follow every word BioWare tells you about Renegades. And do it under the guise of 'thinking for yourself.' That's the most laughable part of all.

They tell you Renegades hate aliens, and that's what you obediantly say and think. Without question. Like a dog. It just becomes fact for you.

Not all renegades hate aliens, i play as a renegade & the only alien i really dislike is tali. The other non-humans are fine

It's merely logic though. They are not human, and beastaility is the closest word to describe this situation.

Not really? Beasts can't consent. That's sort of the whole point.

Saying one word is much more convinient than saying "I am not into sex with people who are not humans."

That takes time to type out that I simply do not have.

But then you had to type a whole post explaining what you meant. It would've been more convienent and took less time just to say the bolded. :P

I love David's false dichotomy and belief that everyone is incapable of thinking for themselves on an issue.

Oh good, more Mass Effect.

But Ryz, you agree then, that, if resources were not an issue, on the premise?

It's a sci-fi game, actual science doesn't exist in sci-fi. This is always the case.

This is Mass Effect's science, so the point doesn't really change.

Sci-fis tend to contradict their own science on a regular basis.

No excuse.

Oh, it's not an excuse but neither should it be such a big deal.

XD

Yes but that's in a dream scenario where everything could have the equal amount of resources and care put into it. As that is not reality I'm not pro it. It's variation better placed in other places with greater impact.

Edit: added this bit
If my choices are have LI reject me because of race, or have another way of getting a quest because a quest giver is a racist douche I'll pick two. If I can have both sure but in cases of limited resources (which is everything just about) I'd always pick two over 1. More variation in main quest for me is invaluable. (Plus it makes replays grow much less stale).

I agree.

There should be different characters that join you based on your sex/class. Like KotOR 2. Though that was only sex, if I remember correctly.

And it made the canon story of a LSF Exile not make sense, but that's on Lucas Arts.

I'm curious if anyone here has an actual clue on what the science in having sex with a humanoid alien would actually involve. Since the arguments I've seen on the BSN in similar veins have consisted of copy and pasted paragraphs from Wikipedia full of words the poster couldn't pronounce, much less understand, I'm guessing the answer is a definitive "No."

Revan should've been female and Exile should've been male. I don't know WHY they did it the other way. And yeah you can't even get Handmaiden as a female exile so the canonical version of KOTOR2 isn't even playable. *grumbles*

And ugh screw LA man...Revan should've been female. :crying:

I love how David assumes since he doesn't understand a word no one else short of a rocket scientist can.

It's getting really annoying, yes David there are in fact people who are just smarter than you. People who understand all these 'long and unpronounceable" words.

You should investigate that... I'll bet your thesis will become even more legendary than quarian sweat.

Oh good, even more Mass Effect. I was missing out on the deluge.

Why should Revan have been female? The player's choice doesn't have an impact there. But as you agree, without the Handmaiden - only available to Male Exiles - you can't have a canon story. But the Disciple did reveal a lot more of the story than the Handmaiden did.

Have you played the Gizka Restoration mod?

Depends your suspension of disbelief. In this instance don't really care as my interest in Mass Effect is minimal. For something I'm more invested in that would be different.

Don't be silly. I had to look up antihistamine. That's five whole syllables. I'd never get that on my own.
