The hat and those oversized shoulders just don't work together. What's with Bio and these shoulder stuffings anyway, is there like a law of physics in Thedas which demands gigantic shoulders for everyone?

Thats not a scabbard guys, two handed swords often had a piece of leather wrapped around on the first few inches of the blade (where the blade wasn't sharpened) to serve as grip, Especially Scottish claymores.

Nice screenshots but I really, really don't like the hat. A lot of people seem to love it but to me it looks like it belongs in a Western, not in Dragon Age, so I like it as much as I would like it if Varric traded in Bianca for a machine gun - which is not at all.

damn those screens look amazing. love the hat hope there are more hats in the game. i'm not much of a hood, mask, or whatever type of guy. also the facial hair texture/renders/whatever it is called look unbelievable.

That is not a hat but a sentient parasite that came out of the tears in the Veil to rule Thedas disguising as a hat. It possesses the inquisitor making him a puppet to further its plans.
Silliness aside the graphic looks very good and, with the exception of the hat, I'm looking forward to the game.

Mhh. On second thought the existence of that hat makes me hope we'll be able to gain the robes of "the Spanish Inquisition". That would be one thing: unexpected .. and awesome. Two things: unexpected and awesome... not to mention silly. Darn! Three things..

I think it's more 17th century "swashbuckler" than Western.
