This hat looks ridiculous. And scenery is boring. Last screen at least has aesthetic value, but I don't see anything to do in that location gameplay-wise. More stupid fights maybe.

I also thought it looked out of place when we saw it in the concept art. But it's grown on me. Over the top Orlesian fashion looks fun.

Also, that looks a lot like Viggo Mortensen.

Really cool pictures, but I hope that that we are going to have more options than the pirate style for Rogues \\ Mages.
(the pirate style already appeared in the pic on armor evolution, which may or may not mean that it's going to be a theme in DA:I)

True, it's more 17th century as you say. That doesn't make me like it any more, I've never been a great fan of hats. Even if it didn't look out of place for a DA game I probably still wouldn't like it - I can be very picky. The design, while not quite as ugly as the mage hats in origins, isn't to my liking.

It doesn't bother me much though - I just won't use it, as simple as that. Unless it has super-awsome-special stats but they had a button that made hats invisble in DA:O and DAII so why not in inquisition?

Right,  based on the small bits of info so far it seems like Varric is going to be one of my problems that will need my trusty murder knife.

Oh yeah and I want that hat and a cool outfit to go with it.

Not personally a fan of cavalier hats, but it is nice seeing something different then helmets and mage cowls.
The first picture definitely makes me excited to try character creation for this game now though.

Fashion is often goofy looking. There was a time in France when women had hats with ships. Let us recall our own more recent and less than glorious history with beehives, bell bottoms, hammer pants and platform shoes. I like that they might not look "cool" to us because they aren't supposed to be "us".

What is it you don't like. I like these shots, as opposed to the Inquisitor's gear in the in-game footage with that ridiculous helmet.
