Last time I did fire explosion extravaganza was eons ago but IIRC I had no points in passives, which I'd do again in order to incorporate melee now because reasons.  Course back then I was an all-or-nothing-in-Adrenaline-Rush kinda person because I "needed" on demand shield restore.  I think it's neat using Rush just for instant reload or damage boost.

Anyways blah blah, his powers combo fine.  Although I will note that both the other characters with Carnage are also ermahgerd-awesome at doing the same thing, they merely have different methods to play.  Unfortunately the krogan on a new account will have a point in Fortification...

Why not 6/6/6/4/4? Powers are for explosions rather than raw damage, and AR can give 70% weapon damage or 40% DR to make up for either passives or fitness.

66606 or 56636 works just fine.

Fortification 5b's 30% power damage evo outperforms the krogan passives 27.5% max power damage anyway.

I'm using 5/6/6/3/6 as a FE melee build at the moment, and it's one of the more effective build's I've tried.

The claymore's a little too heavy for the KroSol like this though, which is a downside...

That could work.

The multiplicative anti-armour bonuses from carnage and frag grenades would miss the power damage boost a little, and 700 shields is still a little squishy, but it's definitely a viable option.

I'm using my BF3 with an adas at the moment, so he's like a disruptor ammo based version of the cryo-soldier, so that's why he's a 0/6/6/6/6, the adas really doesn't benifit all that much from AR.

A claymore or raider build might like the 6/6/6/4/4 build better.

Not really, no.

HSol is never going to be a tank, but the shield regen evo helps keep him alive, and I wouldn't use AR with my adas BF3 anyway, it's just there as a stagger stick, shield stripper, and ammo applicator.

As I said. 66644's a decent option, but not the right option for me.

Much prefer weapon/power/weapon or weapon/headshot/weapon from the passives really... don't like Carnage taking five seconds with Fortification so I ultimately dropped it.  That's just my preference though.  Having to go five ranks into a power I don't really need/want to get better use out of it... eh.

Graal is really nice on 'im, dunno if you've tried it.  Totally usable off host.  Or Venom.

The power damage evo was just a bonus, it's all about the 100% melee damage for me.:devil:

The main reason I turned him into a carnage build was so I'd have good enough cool-downs to cycle fortification off & on again in a timely manner.

I might try the graal on him sometime, if I can get the wraith off him...
