Oh, and let's forget he does all this for no other reason than honor. Then because it's right.

Miranda led a team. She led at least two teams.

Kaidan led a team.

They're every bit as competent as Garrus is, if not more. Garrus is more of a niche warrior. He'd work great as a Sniper or DM, but otherwise, I'll have him following rather than leading.

Honor is a fool's prize right?

Also, 'right' is subjective.

Seeing as Garrus, is, I've said many times, by far the most popular female love interest and overwhelmingly one of the most well liked companions in general, it clearly isn't.

There's the leap in logic again. Also, I thought Liara was the most popular female LI.

I don't even know how you're equating popularity to character traits, or the merits behind them, but then again, I'm not really surprised either.

So according to you the Spectre is outclassed by the self admited, failed cop/failed Spectre candidate/ failed vigilante who's only real accomplishment was a high merc body count on Omega followed by the decimation of his team and an escape in which he lost half his face and had to fake his own death.

Intresting

No he specifically tells you he does it because he doesn't have the patience to deal with the legal process.

Not decimation. Annihilation.

Yes. Outclassed by far. 'Spectre' is a seven letter word. As difficult as it may be you to realize, putting that word or any other word in front of someone's name does not magically make them the ultimate badass. Spectre or no, Kaidan is never shown to accomplish a great deal with his skills.

Meanwhile, Garrus accomplishes tremendous challenges. The courage it takes to do what he did is very significant.

I see why he hates the "I want something to go right" line so much. It's too honest.

No what it does is recognize the abilities they have and the trials they've been trough themselves. You don't earn a rank without merit, and you know what's really funny? We don't see any of Garrus' accomplishment or his "tremendous challenges" save for him sniping mercs when you go rescue him.

Garrus skill is heavily implied as well. Kaidan leads a team of biotics, and they don't all die. He's a powerful biotic.

Also, being a Spectre is being an ultimate badass. Really, the only person I can think of who has the title without really earning it is Ashley. Kaidan I'd say is probably psychologically unsuited to it, but he nonetheless has earned through his own skills. Now the question of whether or not Garrus is worthy of the title or not is up for debate. I will concede that he was a candidate for the Spectre's at one point. That alone shows remarkable skill and experience.

You put way too much emphasis on your idea of courage and heroism.

As a wise man once said; "courage is useless in the face of educated bullets."

And that wise man was definitely qualified to judge that.

Funny thing is, I actually agree about Kaidan, he's done jack-****. Garrus does have courage, but it lead to men dying, Garrus does have compassion, but all it's shown is he can kill a few mercenaries. His list of accomplishments don't mean much outside of Omega, let alone the galaxy. Shepard sees the good in him, but that doesn't mean everything he's done = the right outcome.

This should really all be common sense. Attractive traits in men are competence and confidence. It's made overwhelmingly clear by every piece of romance literature for women in existence.

Kaidan's been doing stuff it's just offscreen, the alliances is just tight lipped about it to the point that even TIM can't get to his files, but it's heavily implied that's he's been busy since the SR-1 got shot down.

Now you're changing the track of your argument to something else entirely.

No one is arguing against this David. It's a position you're inventing so you can graft over what everyone else is saying and then promptly attacking it.

And to be honest, you're not correct either. Given your amount of judgements that are 'absolutes' in fiction, compared with your actual track record for fiction, really shows you don't know what you're talking about.

I'm sure you're also leaving out the bit about dominant women who like timid and meek men, or the women who want the sweet, compassionate, sensitive guy, or the women who like shy men and whatnot.
