I didn't try this solution. I just chose to not use them, since for my purposes they are not very important. At least the walls or what not. Some other made by PJ, I could use. If the solution with the blueprint tinting works that is, because if it's not... I need to open some 100 areas and search for the black ones. Not really my type of fun :).

So basically they are tinted solid black and I need to chant the tints to something I want, correct?

Those placeables blueprints should be set to stock type colors then, as adding this to an existing module would mean going through all the areas and resetting these tints.

That's Heeds work, I meant to make a note that they should be used with caution. All my tintable obejects ahve a new 2da entry and come out stock colours or white. In my opinion that's the right way to do it.

I will check Knightmares caves and see they are correctly implemented.

I hope to be able to give this a few hours before the end of ths month and bring out update 3. It will have all these bugs squashed and more tintable content.

Perhaps if we all say pleeeaaase nicely we can talk Tchos into extending the witcher set by a model or two :)

Ok. The Knightmare caves work fine, they are simply missing in the spreadsheet so I can't check off that I used them.

Are there some certain placeables you want, or is this just a general encouragement to get back to it?

Thanks Kamal_

Tchos, I can do you a list, there are a few I think would be very useful right now. I will post on the thread later :)

At the risk of being tardy to the party do you want these placeables?

Never too late to join the party :)

Are these vfx's or placeables. If they go on the placeables 2da I will add them. Do you have a reserved range?

Placeables, I don't care what range they are on, there is only 6 or 7 items. I'll pull them out.

Yus?

I won't lie, Tchos your work is amazing to me, and a lot of it is super nice immersive stuff for role play.

The food, the flaggons, all of it.  I can't wait to see what else you'll make.

Well, you'll like seeing all the new placeables I made for my campaign, then, and others that I edited, repurposed, or retextured.  The Witcher placeables are mostly conversions, so my part in it is mainly drudge work, aside from the variations and new items I made using bits and pieces of them.  It wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of the fine folks at CD Projekt RED.

What you say about the food makes me think maybe I should bring over one or two of my older mods from another game.
Breakfast Food
Better Meat - Hammy McHamham edition

I wouldn't be able to do all of the items, though, because they're retextured Oblivion props, and some may be too blocky to be desired.

More food options would definitely be good, although perhaps not the sauce bottles and processed food. Something I'd like to see one day is a nice roasted pig on a platter.

There is a roasted pig on a platter in the Witcher placeables, but it's not whole. It looks like it's the leftovers from the day after the banquet. I'll need a whole pig for my next module project.

Where are you at with those Tchos? If you're settled on the 2da locations and in a place to share then i would very much like to include them in update 3?

Right now they're in one of the ranges that the wiki says is "reserved for module authors", but my plan is that after I release the module, I'll move them to the end of the block that I reserved for the Witcher placeables, since there should be enough room there for them. If not, I'll put them in a later range.

To prevent being accused of being too humanoid-centric, we'd also need food options for monsters as well. Like a roasted gnome with an apple in its mouth (preferably using the Grobnar head model).

You could pretty much do that with stock resources. Corpse with vfx skin effect applied for the roasted effect, scale to desired size.  Soul orb tinted red for the "apple".

The bloody sphere in MotB might make a better apple (soul orbs have glow maps). Chances are that monsters don't eat much fruit anyway, and prefer to put the gnome's own heart in their mouth for presentation purposes.

The corpse wouldn't strike the traditional roasted pig pose though.

I've got apples for you, already in the released package, though they're pretty blocky.

I also have a non-glow fully tintable soul orb that I made to use as cannonballs.

Hey, I guess I went ahead and did it now. I combined several models to make this.

This'll be in the next Witcher placeable release.  PJ, this means there'll need to be a new entry in the 2DA.

That would be a bit more difficult. I don't know if it's even possible to import a creature with its skeleton into Gmax so that it can be manipulated into a pose.

That looks good. The ear is a little mutated, but I like the overall shape and texture. :)
