I just finished the game and was wondering, is it worth the time to play  it again, Sam?  And if so, can I import Hawke over to the do-over? And.... what about his gold, equipment, stashed items, etc.?

Play as a different class.

No, you can't do a New Game+. You can only import from DAO.

Is what you want to do create the same physical appearance of Hawke but have different decisions? If so, why not go back to a named save early in the game and just play it over from there? You can't change your character name but you can return to your previous character by returning to a previous save. You may even be able to change your class with PC console commands or the Black Emporium. Inventory would revert to what it was at the point of that save and if you were or want to become a mage the wrong sibling will be alive.

If you want to play a different class and play on console or don't have Black Emporium or maker's sigh only allows you to reallocate points within a class, yeah, you'll have to go through the CC process and Lothering again. You still won't have any of your 1st Hawke's loot. I think just starting a new character is the easiest option.

Actually, I was more concerned about losing my XP's, but the Legacy DLC picked up where I left off, at my home.  I was disappointed that Merril wasn't there.  I was hoping to get "a little sump'n sump'n" before my next quest....<3
