I noticed that Hawke (and siblings) fathers' name was Malcolm. Is that true?

There is a very specific reason why I ask.

That's interesting because my characters' name in all of the DA series is Malcolm.

Btw, why does practically everyone drop the other 'L' in the name? :(

Because L's are easy to misspell. Like people tend to play rouges.

Hmmm, so those people tend to have red cheeks and lips????:D  Perhaps they live in Baton Rouge, sneaking around during Mardi Gras?

There's another "L"? :o

I'd just always assumed the correct spelling was Malcom, as the second "L" isn't pronounced (is it?).

It looks kinda odd. Kinda like if you told me that "Bob" was really spelled "Boub" :lol: I'll take your word for it though, and spell it "Malcolm" from now on.

So many old names have evolved over the years. I've seen several spellings of the name Alistair, for instance. I called a DAO character Malcolm too, I recall.
