It's very frustrating to be the one that gets dropped right at the end. I now duck for cover with 5 or less seconds left and stop shooting to prevent getting oopsie-killed
I find that the reactor map can be problematic sometimes and that is even waiting until the 20 second mark to make that run to extraction. Sometimes when you do take cover, you have enemies and bosses spawning and coming up the ramp and enemies hitting you up from the far off right hallway as you're sitting in the last few seconds for extraction.
It can be done, i'm just saying that i notice that even with cover sometimes, i feel myself still getting hit from long distance weapons or being flushed out by a boss that makes it up the ramp..

i think the most protected cover spot in reactor lz is down the 'back' side stairs and take cover beside those stairs where the extraction zone extends just far enough that you'll still be in it.
That way, 3mm thick steel and PUGs will shield you from the onslaught.

One way to get around this is to dodge-spam when you're getting up. It's a good habit to get into anyway, but the game will count you as alive if you're in the dodge animation.
I can confirm this.
Dodge spam straight out of a death and you'll make it.

Yeah but the vids aren't up on Youtube anymore so the text explanation is the only thing up.
I should reupload the vids to another youtube account which I don't care about. Sometime... maybe.
