This one's just for fun. Didn't find a thread for it, so I made one.

First part of the fun is:

Disclaimer: yes, I know linking race to a certain type of personality is wrong and undermines how much work was put into making every race distinct, but not a stereotype... But there are at least some personality traits you would consider 'salarian' or 'krogan'. And otherwise we wouldn't have this topic now would we.

So, if you could theoretically combine one, two or maybe three races to best represent your personality, which ones would they be (explanations optional)?

Second part:

Which race or combination of race would you want to be, regardless of your own personality or because of the resulting combined 'personality' (again, explanations optional)?



Now, in the ME universe I would probably be a vorcha (excited and quirky), though with a huge dosage of salarian (frantic scientist who likes to talk about science and other obsessions/hobbies a lot) and a hint of elcor when I'm calm and serene. More salarian than vorcha I guess, but much more vorcha than most?

If I could choose, I'd be geth/quarian? Otherwise, I'm pretty pleased with myself actually:p Maybe I'm not as vorcha as I think, or I'm more vorcha than I show people (which could be a good or a bad thing).

Geth? Being nearly immortal.... Least until some crazy person commes up and puts a gun in your face accusing you of killing their great great great grandmother or something, even if that was a different Geth long before you were created.

Human because everyone loves humans... Right?!?

The Asari do seem a little bit too mainstream in the galaxy.

In the end I guess it depends on the story. I'm pretty sure you could make a good Volus or Hanar story if you really put some effort into it. Their speech might anoy the hell out of most people after a few hours though Unless it's changed for the protagonist, the reasons could be in the characters backstory. Maybe they were adopted or grewup on an alienworld.

Casual players would usualy go for something familiar like "Human". I don't mind playing human either.

What do I really want? I want the story, gameplay and characters to be great!

Probably human. Drell could be fun. I love Turian culture as well.
