I don't mind Juggs who melee spam, I mean the point of their class is to tank and pull aggro, but it gets old

Best of the Best Scrubs with measly N7/CP are everywhere nowadays. It is always a pleasure to numerically intimidate them.

Mine was a shadow which would die all the time when they try to hassan chop the enemy.
A GI with a black widow which couldn't hit the target
A TGI which died within the second or third spawn 8 of the waves

And me as a salarian saber infiltrator with tears in his eyes fighting collectors on Vancouver... I need a drink

Agreed. They make everyone else's job easier.  It's not always all that fun, but it does make it alot easier since all the enemies are in one place.

My main authentic PUG experiences are equipment based:
• people who never equip anything before a match, and don't use consumables during, or
• the much more annoying, people who use up all of their gels and ops packs in early waves instead of ever waiting for help, and then end up leaving you to play the last 4 waves or so a man or two down.

I'm guilty of a lot of the overuse of some kits, so I don't hold that against folks as long as take care of business and don't get dropped all the time.

I dont mine either especially when rolling a biotic.  Let em pile on the juggy ensuring everything is all nice n close for when all those those juicy explosions go off.

EDIT:  On topic  - Wave 11 and everyone is at LZ while your off on the far side watching them use all their gels and rockets.... only to then either bleed out or finally run over to your positiion (which is usually right as its time for you to head to the LZ ironically).

I'd not say it's the point of the class. If you have people who can capitalize on the walking aggro singularity, it's at least a viable tactic. The problem is that the tactic is not a golden hammer, much as the average puggernaut may think it to be.

I'd say the point of the kit is to leverage increased survivability into increased damage output, usually through sustained power use or weapons fire even in the face of enemies most other kits spend half their time running from. The Puggernaut build is basically doing just that, except it uses a middleman to increase damage output - "I survive so they can shoot."

The problem arises when the puggernaut plies hs trade when accompanied by allies who can't thin out his attackers fast enough.

Mods are wonky. I maxed out the rare ones long before the uncommons.

OK, fair enough.  All the rare mods are from DLC right?  So I probably had the uncommon ones maxed, or at least close to it, before the rares became available.  And when I first started playing, I bought a LOT of Veteran Packs.  I guess they work kind of like the gears.  I maxed out all the rare gears, weapons, mods, and characters, and UR characters, plus the missile/gel/ops/ammo upgrades, long before finishing the uncommon gears.

It's amazing how perfect the timing of that is.
