I can't give you a modern example, but what does that mean? What is a society? Every person in the society has their own views on everything. People just stick together for convienience.

We can say that OR, we can draw lines in between meanings and make filters for levels of things we discuss. After all, we won't be able to survive, or atleast enjoy life better if we don't.

Better is subjective, and in this world, better means more combustible.
