I just started another trilogy playthrough. I took sort of a break, by playing GTA V. This was clutch because I was getting sick of constant ME..

I really want to set up a great Shepherd for the trilogy. I started as a:

-Soldier (I enjoy ME1 combat)
-bonus power, Throw
-Renegade (not limiting myself to only renegade decisions however)

Anyone doing something similar? Anyone playing through the saga again?

I have 8 Shepards with complete playthroughs and am starting a new one as we speak (Adept) haha. If you like ME1 combat so much I'm surprised you didn't go Vanguard or Adept, as they make more used of what's available in combat. Solider just....shoots **** lol.

The infiltrator on Me1 is my favorite... and if you get the Assault rifle kills achievement/trophy, then you have a tech character with soldier capabilities who has Fitness, Overload/Shields and Dampening. Strongest character in the game imho.

Meanwhile, I have way more finished playthroughs of one than trilogy playthroughs. I feel scruby relying on heavy weapons in 2 and then theres the end to 3... which i dont hate, but i wish i could save Shepard without an immoral decision...

I think I might sometime in the near future. This time though I'll try to make a Shepard that at least remotely resembles me. I'll probably go with a soldier build too since I haven't really used that class all that much.

I am working on getting the Platinum trophy for the whole trilogy.

I am on my 4th play-through in #1, doing Insanity difficulty using engineer starting from level 56. I only need 3 more trophies: completion on insanity, Wrex ally, reaching level 60. All of these should be achieved on this play-through. I have done the 3 main missions, only Virmire+Ilos left plus all the side assignments. I'll do as many as needed to get to level 60 (currently at 59) and to get the krogan-ally trophy, then finish up.

On #2 and #3 I am only missing the insanity level trophy, so that should be straight-forward playing through in continuation after I finish #1.

Recently I started my third playthrough of ME. I hadn't played it in a couple years, spent most of that time on ME2 and 3.

Will probably do two playthroughs(though likely few side quests the second time) before continuing to 2.

In character this Shep is a little off. One second he's all "I'm in command!" the next he's very charming. Did prioritize charm and intimidate, as well. Result of the above are paragon and renegade bars about half full(renegade higher) and passes any intimidate/charm check. Luckily this game doesn't punish the character for being "gray" alignment-yay charm/intimidate skill.

He is pursuing Ash and Liara, although won't consumate either relationship. Will probably sacrifice Ashley on Virmire.

This Shep also told Rear Admiral Mikhailovich to suck it. He didn't punch Al Jilani, just blew her off.

We go to Feros in the morning.

I had forgotten just how different ME1 is from the second two games.
