So I am thinking of sinking my teeth into this editor once its released. Im not quite sure if i will make a full fledged mod, atleast not by myself, but at the least i would like to create some new environments for the community to use. Right now i have some stuff made(props, weapons, architecture, textures, ect) that i plan to get set up in the editor. Let me know what you guys think of this idea, and here is a glimpse of some of the stuff i plan to use, currently running in UE3 as a testing ground.

That stuff looks excellent man. I hope I'm able to put out some work on the same level of quality.

Looks pretty good, indeed. You will need normal displacement texturea as well though (just like in NWN2), in case you don't have that already, but yeah...I would love to see models of this quality added.

By the way - which 3D tool did you use to make this?

And yes, getting static (non-animated) models into the game should be doable soon.

This looks great! Such detailed models and textures.. Hell even a texture overhaul would be lovely for DAO, but with your level of skills, I'd like to see model upgrades too! Keep up the excellent work.

Thanks for the reply guys, ill see what i can do. Apparently BioWare gimped the editor by not offering a 3dsmax import solution, thankfully Adinos is trying to get one rolling.

Eh...not just me ... tazpn is working on this as well and maybe others - all the necessary information is available - it's just a matter of some qualified programmer having the interest and the time.
