Beings I have been without internet at the house for about a week and a half now, I fired up the old single player.

I have not played any of the dlc's except for the "From Ashes" dlc since I downloaded them, until now. The Aramax Arena is not nearly as bad as I had figured. I made some interesting observations based on multiplayer experiences.



1. The AI squad members get destroyed by the Collectors much like new pugs, except you can force them to gel. LMAO.

2. Javik is the worst pug ever. He is constantly charging off and getting killed.

3. The "Fatal Error" mission was awesome. Kind of like a knock off Platinum match.

I was just curious about what some off the other veterans thought about Mirror mode and a Multiplayer version of it.

I really would like to see a mode like this in ME4 multiplayer.

I thought Javik was awesome. I usually took him and Wrex and just lift grenaded all the things. Mirror match was a joke imo.

He is terrible everytime I take him out. Ugh, I had such high hopes for him....

Just the fact that you dont have to "aim" their grenades and they hit instantly makes him great. Most of your teammates are worthless, I ended up just soloing most of it after grenade spam. Isolate and kill them one by one. I was an adept with energy drain though so I was pretty OP.

I was an infiltrator with Kaidan and Liara (my ME1 A-team). I think something was circulating in the air over at Armax that made their AI even worse than usual.

It's been a rather long while but I seem to recall that in the arena I had wildly opposite impressions of my squaddies (my go to teammates on other missions performed horribly and those I couldn't stand to fight with did well). It was weird. But since it was the first time I'd played any single player since getting sucked into MP 2 months after release, it was rather funny to see how much easier a lot of things were so I pretty much just roflstomped.

Now that you mention it though... I don't think I've finished all of the stuff in that DLC. I know I still have arena stuff to do but the last time I was in there I was utterly distracted by the stupid claw machine game.

So you want a singleplayer version of multiplayer in the multiplayer?

It was fun. Mirror Match is one of the hardest things about the Singleplayer, and if you're on Insanity, it's undoubtedly the hardest thing in ME3. Fatal Error was lots of fun too, I just wish that it was a selectable enemy as well as map.

I wish you could replay Fatal Error.. Watching Grunt and Wrex meleeing all bosses was too good. Mirror Match was pretty difficult for me on insanity tbh, but I was too confused switching from mp to sp lol. Nothing beats that last Marauder though. XD

I hate to be the one to come off as a dick here, honesty is all I have. Armax Arena was a joke. A half-decent weapon (from the multiplayer perspective) is godly in single player. My Soldier playthrough was absolutely stinky in the Arena - fire up the PPR and pop Adrenaline Rush once the hot beam kicked in. Every spawn died in seconds with a monstrous multikill score.

It's worse on classes allowing grenades - including Soldiers. The Arena would get old in multiplayer pretty fast. Although I will be objective and fair by saying it would let us mix things up and do something different for a change of pace.
