I just finished Dragon age 2, and I have to say I was very disappointed with Anders. I sympathises greatly with his cause, and I also thought anders was the future for a freeing good mages. But when he killed the grand claric, all of that got fleshed down the toilet. People like anders don't understand that they aren't stoping in-justice, they are creating it. I killed that idiot. What he did currupts everything good he thought he was doing, and he threw away a brighter future.

The Circle of Magi should have studies anders. Study the Bond of a human being with a spirit of the fade. Like Wynn from DA1. They should try to make more of these types of mages. They are the perfect way to fight agaist Demones and the evil Tevinter. With these new mages, these fused Archons, you wouldn't need to lock up mages. Anders and Wynn would knew right away, when a Demon is at work. And they can't be possessed, becasue they are already a hoste to a spirit. Spirits are everything that is good in Humans, that is how they are formed. Demons are everything that is evil and wrong with humans, and only seek destruction.

Some might argue it wasn't really Anders, but rather Vengeance (the corrupted version of Justice).

Nevertheless, you have to admit it was a pretty efficient way to (as he says) remove any compromise.

DA2 was written as a tragedy, where the hero is powerless to prevent events from happening.
That's why it's so unappealing.

How many mages, that anders wanted to save were killed. All he did was further the hatred and fear people have of mages, and it feeds directly into parionia of people like the Knight Commander who want to turn all mages into mindless slaves.

Anders was un-worthy of Justice, and failed him. But Wynn is a far better example, of why the Circle should create more mages like that. Their power can match any evil of the world of Thades.

Justice was bad even before inhabiting Anders. That douchebag tried to kill my Warden.
