We should play again sometime soon.
Allow me to recommend it, it's the best in general as is. Stout is also great for playing as well though it does better with FPS's.

Half of the reason I moved to Belgium was for the beer (grad school the other...) so naturally I'm typically working on a few 10% beers while I play. Highland scotch is the other option

Adas is really overrated, I've never understood why people use it, the striker is so much more reliable and effective.

I was just referring to rocket glitching since those are the two weapons they use. I do like the striker somewhat and use it for kicks sometimes. It's also one of the coolest looking ARs.

'Legit' in my eyes is definitely experience, but experience isn't always easy to discern anymore.
ME3 MP was really the first MP I was around for since the beginning (I was probably two weeks late because I wanted to devote myself to the SP). Even then I capped off on gold and I was content to stay there; I never really elevated myself. You get people diving in on gold on their first game - and people on plat with less experience than that!
Other people can do whatever the hell they like; I was only ever concerned with myself and sticking to my own comfort zone

The problem with the Adas is that it misses some shots when playing off host, it has some really strange behaviour. The striker guarantees you a wide radius missile with every single hit, plus it has a really high fire rate...on a map like glacier, it's absolutely devastating, it's definitely my top choice for the destroyer.

Seriously if I'm on the game I like to be with friends playing the game not dicking around in the store. I have blown up good Plat solos several times because someone came on line that I would like to play with.

I couldn't tell. I've never rocket glitched before and I hadn't mentioned the striker in my response. I have no idea about which is more reliable in that regard which is why I was unsure of what he meant

I can't tell if you're talking about personally glitching or not but if you are, I hope it's in private games. Dropping into a game with a glitcher is the worst. I only play with them if I have a character with flamer or shockwave and I stand in front of them the whole match spamming powers at them to make their 30 minutes as miserable as possible.

On-topic: Challenge Points are the better indicator of the two, but neither can be used to accurately predict skill.

I have to agree with Leland and Nuke entirely. I have run with both for a long time. I know I promoted because I wanted to, not to prove a point. Reaching N7/] 20,000 + was a goal I set early on and I always enjoy completing challenges, Combat Mastery expecially.
On that note, I have seen and still run with players with really low N7 that are amazing players and can mop the floor with me on occasion, *cough* boogie *cough*.
That being said, both scores are too unreliable to judge a player superficially. Everyone has bad matches, lag, wierdness. Its just an unfortunate fact of playing a game based upon space magic. A bad host can turn a good lobby into an unplayable one regardless of player skill or experience, just saying. Seems boogie and I always end up with that senario in pugs, lmao.
I remember when I started running with Nuke and OTS over a year ago. Their N7 and challenge points were three times what mine were at the time and I found it impressive because their skills backed up the stats to boot. With some help from them and their buddies, which became my friends later on also, I became a decent player myself. Now my N7 and challenge points are way higher than most of the people I run with, but yet several are still way better players than I. Now, I could care less about someone elses scores. Its all about having fun anymore; on the other hand, I can respect the effort put into such scores also.
Every player is different. Some are more efficient with different setups and senarios than others. The opposite also seems to hold truth as well. So long as everyone has relevent equipment on, if applicable, and puts forth an honest effort in game without being a complete douche about everything that happens in game/lobby I'm more than happy to run with them. Heck, I usually will help them improve their game if they ask. We are all on the same side of this war after all...
