Volus. He's not a bad char but I don't like the idea of an adept who can't make biotic explosions against armor (unless he uses incendiary rounds, of course).

All the others adepts are awesome.

Gonna say the volus tho it's a close run thing with the phoenix adept. Really don't like that guy!!!

Warp and Throw both have detonation bonus evolutions, and Warp can prime on anything.  Her power output is awesome.  Plus Stasis makes Phantoms absolutely trivial.

I'd say Volus, but I've never even specced the kit.  It's still sitting there with the "new" icon on it.  I'm just not interested, frankly.

Human Adept, since we're just throwing **** at the wall and seeing what sticks.

There are no crappy adepts. The hardest to use at a high level is probably the Volus but even he is a monster at survivability and just mowing **** down.

He's not even an adept, since shield boost isn't biotic.

If it's a combat power, he's an old school vanguard (biotic+combat hybrid), and if it's a tech power (as I suspect), he's actually a sentinel (biotic+tech hybrid).

The fact he has very little potential for BE's, and none at all against bosses also makes him a **** poor adept.

He works nicely as a weapons platform though.

Laugh all you want. I did a gold solo with a volus adept on first atempt and I failed three times with the asari.
