Justicar is a tank... one of the first characters I used in platinum. The key to the AA is a staggering weapon. Warp/throw need a reliable way to hit targets. Plus stagger helps keep her safe.

This is actually a hard one.  I'd have to say the ACA or Volus. Shield boost is unreliable off-host, and the ACA is powerful, but the timing of his powers is a bit cumbersome. But all the adepts are good in their own way, which is what makes them so much fun.

Volus is the worst.  They should have given him Reave instead of Stasis.  Then he would be awesome.

The difference is not THAT big honestly. Even though she has weaker explosions(I assume you are reffering to reave+bubble), they are capable of taking enemies down fairly quickly. Not only explosion is in work there. Once you detonate reave with bubble(or vice versa), reave is still working, usually finishing what survived the explosion(sans bosses)

You do know that there is trick to bypass those long cooldowns exclusive to off host players right....i prefer the collector off host than on host.

The other thing about the Justicar is she becomes more powerful the higher the difficulty is.  On silver, she's not so good because any character can run 'n' gun and survive.  On gold, she starts being the tank.  On platinum, she's one of the few characters that can take a few shots without needing to be constantly revived.

On platinum, enemies can swarm the players quickly.  Suddenly, that not-so-useful sphere is a mosh pit full of enemies.  Reave to BE and shoot.  Her defense becomes the key to her offense.

I do, but I run into issues with the powers not firing at all.

Sometimes Sphere will actually fire, but it will be invisible until you detonate it.  And sometimes Dark Sphere doesn't fire at all but still gives you a cooldown.  A few times, I've tried to fire and had it not work, and then tried to fire again (successfully), but the game treated the second firing as a detonation and applied the cooldown, so I was unable to detonate the Sphere.  Sometimes Seekers won't fire, but you will still lose a swarm.  He's super-glitchy off host, and I'm not sure that avoiding the cooldown on Seekers is worth it.

It's true.

All the Adepts are great, except for the Batarian Slasher because he's the only one that has flawed Shields.

Ehhhh. Personally I loath the Collector's very existence, but
if I had to pick a worst, I'd probably pick the Volus. And I love
Volus! He's just...not very good.
