The guy is so god damned deadpan it hurts. There was no imation to his voice acting at all. Happy, sad, lustfull all sounded the same... My main Shepard was FemShepard mostly since she was actually voiced well. God I hope the voice actor dose better this time.
Why did they keep the same voice actor for MaleShepard?

Dude... your character can't just change voice. Of course they kept him. It should be pretty self explanatory.
And he wasn't that bad anyway.

Why did they keep that silly bint for FemShep? She's constantly overacting and practically ate through the stage that is ME.

By the way, I'm a staunch Hale supporter!

For the love of all that is holy, I'm sick of the VA debate. A lot of people like Hale. A lot of people like Meer. I like Meer. Nothing to see here, people.

If you watch me2 videos, you can hear he really improved (at least when he is renegade

Meer was actually very good, especially compared to other video game VA.
And if you don't like his voice, don't play as a male.

I think Meer does a good job. II don't understand why some people hate his work in the game so much, I guess it's apples and oranges.

Hale is an amazing talent, and a much better voice actor. However, Meer is pretty good, people who are annoyed by his voice acting simply have ludicrous standards.

From short clips, many people have admitted that Meer's inflection or simple delivery has improved since ME1. Although quite frankly most of the time, it just comes down to personal preference. Just because you prefer Hale's femshep doesn't straight out meen Meer was a horrible choice. Personally, I like both VA's for their differences in character and delivery. I give Meer credit for having to step into such big boots as Commander Shepard as well.

I've recently started a FemShep and to tell you the truth, Jennifer Hale's voice acting isn't much better than Mark Meer's. They're both good IMO. But, from what I've seen of ME2 MaleShep's VA has improved
And they can't just change the VA for the main character

Probably, you know, contracts and all that. Plus, keeping the same voice actors allow for greater continuity between the games, and Meer was not bad.

Yeah, I thought the voice acting for Male Shep was a bit odd.. I couldn't take what he said seriously sometimes..

Why don't you put a space between the sex of the character and Shepard?

I liked Meer as Shepard. It was understated, but you could still hear the emotion when it counted. Overacting bugs me much more than subtly, and at no point did Meer sound like he was just reading from a script. But it comes down to personal preferences. If you prefer femshep, then just play with her.

Well yeah, I'm not a Kaidan fan. But I love myself. So it's cool.

Meer also has a pretty neutral voice that fits on many male faces.
