Vorcha keeps his weapon damage bonus at 42.5% provided he kills stuff fast enough... along with that crazy health regen.

Havok has a HS bonus at 5b, Jugg doesnt.
Dat bonus is quite important for SG and vs crabs primes and banshees.
I do agree that Jugg should have been a sentinel, while havok should have been a vanguard.

Despite being one of my favorite characters and one I play a lot I'd still have to say the Juggernaut. I've seen so many people that have no idea how to play him doing things like blocking their own turret when they use their hex shield or trying to use him as a melee character. Used right he is an awesome tank, can do some incredible damage, or be a potent mix of both but so few people seem to know how to use him. He's not the best or most powerful character in the game but built right he's a lot of fun to play.

SG = shotgun?

Jugg's DPS is probably lower, but then again, I never played it and I always thought it's a Sentinel (which it should be).

Yep, SG is a shotgun. I wouldn't say that it's really overrated, I actually feel like it's underrated. It provides 20 (30 if drell/OG-turian) multiplicative bonus for mooks and "semimultiplicative" bonus for bosses. And most bosses have a head.

Most shotguns OHK majority (if not all) of the mooks without the headshot damage bonuses, so they're redundant there.

I do not know how these headshot bonuses modify the headshot multiplier against bosses though. Cyonan pls?

in fact, biotic charge has i-frames on lolpeaesstree. If you activate Charge at the right time you can eat that rocket and walk away like a BAWSS.

Under laboratory conditions perpahs. During actual gameplay not all the pellets actually hit the head every time (due to range at least), so headshot bonuses do matter a lot, even with weapons like Claymore.

It doesn't
it adds listed % of damage to the sum which will be multiplied by boss HS modifier, hence I used the term "semimultiplicative".

Headshot damage from the passive is additive, which means that it can affect bosses.

As far as shotguns and trash mobs go, I would call Havoc Strike far more important than 20% more headshot damage however. The ability to almost instantly put yourself at point blank range is far more valuable since it means every pellet hitting which might not happen at range.

Overall, I would say the Juggernaut is better suited to infinite ammo weapons and playing stupidly aggressive though. He's just not going to win a straight up gunfight against the Turian Havoc.

I'd have to say that all the soldiers are good for something. But if I had to pick one, it would be the Jugg. It is a great class for keeping the fire off your other teammates but PUGs don't use it properly. In the right hands, a Jugg squad could crap all over mooks. QMS the worst? Just put a Saber or Idra and spam marksman + TS.

Jugg is great offensively and the best defensively


PPR is great offensively, not Jugg, any other soldier makes a better use of it.

Juggs only strength is his undestructability, and I see you point, it's a great strength, but it doesn't change the damage output part (probably it does in solos, where less kiting =more killing).

P.S particle rifle X, lolverload, phantom killing melee, doesn't have to die at all :whistle:

Quarian. A poorly designed kit. Nothing exceptional, though marksman makes lots of weapons better even in his hand. No good passive weapon damage, no other skill (like turian stability), low health, no good staggering power (OK, sabotage, but...), no good damage power.

Considering these, i should return this soldier for some extra challenge :D
