The one on this page  at around 2:25. You got to zoom in to see the quest objective of finding Warden-Commander Something and you can see the shades and what seems like warden archers (although they might not be "alive", see below).

There is a Adamante tag over the objective and this point toward the Adamante Fortress which was abandonned by the Wardens a long time ago (it was built and used for the 2nd blight) and was used "recently" (in Asunder, 9:40) to perform experiments on reversing the Rite of Tranquility by the Chantry. At the end of Asunder the place was overrun by demons.

I'm personally wondering why the Wardens are now interested in a demon overruns keep they abandonned centuries ago...

I see pursue and not rescue...

And I can definitely see the word  "warden" behind the Pre-Alpha-Gameplay title...

Interesting :o

Now, the Grey Wardens are beginning to look less like an all-good organization, with all the hints we got. (I don't have the WoT book, so knowing about the First Warden rumors is actually new for me, and I can't wait to see where this goes.)

Some wardens have become corrupted. You find that out in Legacy.
I expect if we have a good warden as our party member he'll be fighting the corrupted wardens.
The wardens are a good organization, don't agree with Gemini.

The Wardens were never a "good" organization. They exist to fight a very specific threat and are essentially neutral in terms of morality. Duncan killed a man for being cowardly after all.

Think what would happen if the darkspawn were so beaten back that old Wardens started coming back out of the depths of Orzammar?

While Alistair and Duncan may have said that you'll just die, maybe that's what they tell Grey Wardens so they don't really wet themselves. What if the taint starts to really transform the Wardens into something else? With the darkspawn still raging around they don't have to worry about it, they assume they'll just die in battle.

That's my hope for why we're fighting wardens.

Warden's DO turn into Darkspawn "mutants" if they don't die before the taint takes them. That was established in 'The Calling' before Awakening came out.

Your opinion.mine is different.
Without the wardens Thedas would have succommed to the blight. That makes them a good organization in my book.:innocent:

They are freeloaders. They are probably just sitting at their castle getting drunk like the last Grey Wardens.

I think the Wardens are a force of good in Thedas. That said, individual Wardens can get up to some pretty shady business.

Id call the GW neutral too, also they kill anyone that knows too much about their organization. In 1 of the books Duncan was under orders to kill Maric If he learned too much if i remember right.

Yeah the GW are neutral. They fight darkspawn and that's it, but they treat kings the same way as a peasant.

See also: Soldier's Peak.

Well, that was basically 2 independently acting Wardens, not the order itself.

We saw a quest (in game) to find a Warden-Commander in the GameInformer preview videos that showed the Inquisition party being attacked by Grey Wardens and shades.

Which video is it? I'm curious...

It's probably this one at ~2:45 where you are in Adamant fortress. I *think* it says "Pursue Warden-Commander somthingoranother...." and those could be Wardens there, but the video doesn't make it all that clear.

Heyyy..the character the dev is playing is in warden armor?? Interesting! Is there a link to the art of the warden ripping off the oath amulet? Got me thinking, and I may be wayyy off, but: What if one of the inquisitor "origins" is that of a fallen grey warden? Something to do with the primeval thaig and red lyrium corruption? Lol. There's too many ways this could go with the way bioware has the table set.

That Warden taking off an amulet is our Warden companion.

Right. But in the dev update video the player character is decked out in warden armor...maybe playing as a companion? Would it be very far fetched to say the inquisitor could also be a grey warden?

Well if my Warden has any say or influence in the matter they won't be following that neutrality bs anymore that's for sure. Hopefully they've started throwing their weight around and making use of their influence to its maximum capacity dictating the actions of Ferelden & The Anderfels =D

Ooohooohoohooho! Bioware pulling a Cerberus on the GW's sounds interesting...

Depends what you mean by "pulling a Ceberus" because what they did to Cerberus in ME3 was bloody awful

I think TIM had a point, especially considering you had the option to execute his plan in the end, so I don't think it was bloody awful.

TIM did have a point yes, but despite being able to agree with it in 2 your only options in 3 were to try to talk back to him like an idiot presenting no valid points.
Not to mention the whole "Lolindoctrinated since first contact war" (see comics) bs. In fact indoctrination plot device was bloody awful anyway
Just because you could "execute his plan" at the very end does not make all the god awful writing around Cerberus any better

The writing might've been bad but I still like the idea/concept.

I think the poor writing was also in part because Cerberus was fighting against the Reapers, just like Shepard, but because they needed Cerberus to be another antagonists and not a possible ally, they needed reasons for the rest of the galaxy to hate them.

The common enemy concept was a problem, as the common enemy concept is a perfect example to cause two parties that normally hate eachother, work together to stop/defeat an enemy/threat they normally can't challenge alone. It's a very valid and strong concept that can't be easily countered. Indoctrination was an excuse to say "Cerberus is bad, despite having the best intentions, because they're being controlled by the Reapers in a way"

Hopefully Grey Wardens won't become the Cerberus of DA series

Bioware seems to be turning the templars into ME3 cerberus so i doubt they'd do the same with the GW's.

Being how I'm already anti-templar, that dosen't bother me at all. Line them up and I'll cut them down.

Yeah! I'm not anti=Templar, but what you said funny

So my Hawke was a Grey Warden after he put on some armor?
