Most engineers feel like either nade spammers or elemental-space-magicians (or both). Which engineer feels like the "real" futristic combat engineer?

For me it's a tie between Vengie and Sabo.

My 26566 quarksman is also quite "engineer'ish", because he is a quarian, all quarians are engineers...

On topic, my favorite is the QME, but the classiest engineer has to be the QFE.

I'd actually say the Turian Saboteur. He deploys his own turret, which is an easily believable weapon in the future. He is able to sabotage enemy electronics and even machines (geth, atlas, turrets). Sure, he has grenades, but even they are kind of tech. A true engineer in my opinion.

He launches self propelled active tracking grenade, not just throws it.
