Do Bioware points ever go on sale?

I have bought some before, (to get some of the important dlc's) and find them kind of expensive but nonetheless I like Mass Effect games. It would be nice to one day have all the stories.

But I often notice on origin or other sites, on some occasions, steam, the games themselves can be on tremendous sales, really good ones. But the bioware points for the dlc's never seem to be on sale.

Being the holiday season still I was wondering if anything was in the pipeline, like a bioware points sale for the period.

I'm not particularly bothered about cosmetics and extra weapons, but I'd like to get the Kasumi dlc for ME2 and Leviathan and the one with Aria for ME3. But at the moment it's way too much and I could get some pretty good entirely new games for that money.

Like the expansion for X-Com, or Rise of Flight, the WW1 flight sim. Or GOTY Tribes Ascend. Or put it toward paying off a credit card and eventually getting a Playstation 4. As much as I like ME series there are higher priorities which is a shame as a lower price would make it a more feasible option for thousands of fans. And be a nice way of saying cheers for being loyal fans.

Or alternately, leave bioware points as they are, and just reduce the price of the dlcs on occasional promotions. Rather than only reducing the price of the games. (I should of thought of this more simple alternative before, now I'm embarrassed!)

I've seen the retail ones (code sheet in a dvd case for 1600) go on sale before, only time I've bought some. DLC pricings are absolutely ridiculous, that's why publishers like them.
