Templars vs Mages - If you had to choose??

So in DAI there will be ongoing conflict between Templars and Mages... I wonder if you had to choose one of them (e.g. like we did in DAO and DA2) who will that be and why?
Personally, I will choose Mages not only because I will play as Female Mage but I don't like the way they have been treated - e,g, locked in towers or Tranquality. I want them Templar scums to feel what it is to cross paths with "powerful and sexy Mage"

Clearly the only solution is to mandate a templar-mage breeding program. Perhaps that will make things more peaceful.

I'm sick of templars and mages.
This. So sick of this stupid debate.
But I'll choose Mages because magical abilities, and powers are cool.
Also Templars are just kind of lame in my eyes.

If you mean me as a person, I'd be trying to find a place without the Qunari with the least amount of warfare. Screw sides, I'd be more worried about not getting in the crossfire. Much as I think most citizens of Thedas would want/try to do.
Kirkwall was such a bad reflection of the templar and mage relationship. The Circle Tower has it's issues (the Broken Circle quest aside,) but it doesn't seem as...poisonous like it does in Kirkwall.

I have a feeling by the end of Inquisition, the Mage-Templar debate will have subsided.
From what I've read, that's one of the goals of the main character in Inquisition. I think the players will have a hand in ending the war.

kill them all.
i am really startig to like the basis for my new inquisitor char idea that feels that both sides need to die for different reasons.

I just want to be a mage Inquisitor who falls in love with a Templar, or a seeker. I think that's how the war between the mage's and the Templar's should end... when other Mages and Templar's witness the true power of love between 2 human beings.
this except substitute "love" for orgy, group sex or gangbang and all of the above and all other variables.
there has been a Templar Mage romance I'm sure but what is sorely missing is a chantry/circle annual orgy.

That sounds like more of a Blood Mage thing. I think about Act 3 in DA2, when Hawke is talking to Orsino about finding blood mages.
"What, I shouldn't slit my wrists and dance naked in the moonlight just to fit in?"
LI: "I would pay to see that."

Being a blood mage makes it even more naughty

Neither, both seem unreasonable and blood crazed at this point. With the end of the Nevarran Accord , it's game on and neither side is going to be in great shape. While, as a PC I am pro-Mage, I disagree with some of the tactics and actions that led to the beginning of the Mage-Templar War.

Took the words from my mouth or er.. hand, I'll probbaly be trying to find were the elves are since they will most likely be hiding out away frm the conflict.

Sadly this will come at the cost of a high death toll and splinter factions who disdain the new peace.
Oh well.
