Why is Zevran trying to kill the Crows? Will he still continue in Inquisition? I know, he won’t make a cameo in DAI, I’m curious.

I would gladly put this topic in the Dragon Age 2 Forum, but I don't know what I’m requirements I’m missing to post a topic.

Should be in the DAO forum.

Supposedly Zevran sets up a rival organization to trhe crows, so I suppose that means he continues to fight them.

So it seems Zevran aspired to make his own Antivan Crows after Origins regardless of you loving him or dying.

Zevran *didn't* create a rival organization to the Crows. He simply eliminated the Crow leadership one by one and, in the end, the remaining Crows decided Zevran was the best of the best and crowned him their new leader.

It's mentioned in-game — specifically, in one of the "cards" at the end of DAO. I think it also pops up as a vague reference in DA2, along the lines of "that's the rumor."

The DA2 Zevran codex entry mentions Zevran taking out Guildmasters and rallying dissatisfied Crows behind him. The codex entry itself is a letter between two Crows dated 9:35. By 9:37 Zevran is still alive, and still being hunted by the guild (when Hawke meets him).

So he didn't actually take over the crows.I didn't think he did.Getting rebellious crows to join him isn't the same thing imo.<_<

Um... There has been no confirmed information on cameos (or lack of thereof) yet. Zevran may very well appear in DA:I, if it makes sense for the story.

If he can gather a considerable amount of rebelling Crows behind him I'd say he'd make a really nice agent for the Inquisitor.

Private army of assassins... I can think of multiple reasons and goals to use 'em.

Hopefully, Bioware doesn't kill the Warden off.

Omg.... that is an excellent idea! Because the Antivan Crows were very influencial to the point other countries feared them than the Antivan army! Having even a fraction of them under your control....I wonder if we'll get Orleasian Bards.

What Zevran is up to is an excellent question...I can't wait to find out :)  It is difficult to say at this point, IMO, if he means to clean house and remake the Crows, or simply bring them down.  His codex entry in DA2 indicates he is gaining the support of disaffected assassins, which could make him an intriguing factor.

If we meet him, there had better damn well be mention of my Warden this time. He wasn't in DA:A (a letter... really?), he appeared in DA2 but pretended my Warden never existed, and if he does something similar in DA:I I will yank his little ears! <_<

EDIT: That's part of the reason I hated DA:A. The Warden I played in DA:O would never have become Warden-Commander. The Wardens was something he was pressured into/ or joined on a youthful whim. After the blight, he ran off with Zevran (dialogue choice I selected). Then, boom! No explanation for why my character is suddenly this super powerful political figure. It wasn't even my character anymore.

As Anders says, it's not easy avoiding the Wardens. Simular to Templars towards Mages, they will drag your behind, regardless of how much you kick and scream, back to duty.

He will mention the Warden, but you'd have to sleep with Isabela.

As has been stated many times, Zevran ignoring his romance flags is a bug, same as what happened with Morrigan in Witch Hunt.

Someone dug up his alternate dialogue from the source code ages ago, including his dialogue when an LI Warden dies.

I think they'll make sure that, should Zevran show up this time, he'll at least properly adress past LI's, if not to make up for the bug in DA2.

If they don't, thanks for the slap in the face, Bioware -.-' it seems that Zevran's romance has the least depth and importance in the DA universe >_>

I thought it was in-character for him to not mention he's in a relationship AND sleep with Isabela.
