Looking at the pics in this locked thread social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/103/index/671315/1
The CE does not come in a nice tin to match the ME1 CE,.. instead it looks like it is in the cheap piece of crap case with a paper slip cover.  Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to getting the game and am happy that I managed to get a pre-order for a CE for the 360, but this will look terrible next to the NICE ME1 TIN.

... also, does anybody know if the retail copy of the comic is larger or are they all small like the one in the CE?

Collectors Edition is no longer something special for loyal fans, its crap made look special and increase royalty. The size of the Comic and art book is a joke costing 20 euro extra.

Too bad it arrives so late, I simply can't wait another week, so I'll just go with the Standard Edition.

Yeah....so much negativity...honestly, who cares if the cover or "box" that houses the very game you will be playing "looks good" or not?

The US CE does come in a tin. In the first photo of that link you'll see the N7 case..that's the tin. Everything else is contained within it in their own individual packaging.



I happen to like it and think it's a very good deal for just being $10 more.

Yes, that's why i'm saying it's not worth that extra cash(for us). It feels like they made everything as small as possible to fit in thas small case. a art book and comic should not be as small as they seem to be

This thing we all can see in this picture is a Steelbook. It is a metal case, one of the best out there. Steelbooks are thin but they`re less often damaged than the big real tin cases.



But of course the CE is very cheap, it`s not even a real artbook it`s a mini-artbook. Fallout had 100 Pages, Age of Empires and others had artbooks like the one that was sold for the first Mass Effect. But all in all, this edition is still "okay", average but we have everything in it, that was there in the first place.

Well, the only tax I know of is the 25% tax we have here. and the copy is all in English, so its no extra languages or anything.

I remember when you used to get a trinket a nice big manual and a game poster when you bought a computer game, none of these collectors editions which costs extra even existed...

Hell even Last Ninja on the C=64 had a plastic throwing star included.
