Well after doing a more thorough comparison, the price different between regular copy and collectors edition is $27 after tax. If you remove the tax we pay, the price is $20 more than regular edition.
Okey, time to quit complaining
Only wanted to let EA/Bioware know I wasnt totaly happy with that price for the CE considering what we get.

Don't we get a tin CE actually? At any rate, I'll be quite happy with my CE when it arrives (so long as Gamestop actually sends it too me and I don't somehow end up with a standard edition ). If you have an issue with the packaging...don't buy it?

Yeah, I know. I guess I'm just pissed our CE got delayed a week here in Europe. Took out my anger on the box.

Yes europe is getting the same Steelbook than the americans. Everyone get`s the same.

Bonus DVD? Filled with trailers!
Cerberus Networkcard? Everyone get it!
Artbook? A little bit nice yes
Comic? 3-4 Dollar in every comic shop, not really worth it
Steelbook? An inflationary package, not as same as special like the Anno 1404 box in example BUT it`s still very nice.

So it not really beat`s the **** out of the standard edition. It`s average, absolutly average.

You're getting an extra disc with commentary and development diaries, a comic book, an art book, and a bonus downloadable item. You would easily pay around $20 or more for all of that stuff separately. If you don't like the CE, then don't buy it. Speak with your money, since typing about it on the forums is meaningless at this point. The things are already being boxed and shipped.

Well what did you expect? A free replica suit of N7 armor you can wear all ofr the low price of $10 extra?

You can pretty much say that about all CE's...

OP:check out the link greenhelm posted (see below). after i read your post, i checked it out b/c i ordered the CE too and remembered something about a "tin case". it does come with one.

You forget that we get nearly everything from the DVD already on Youtube, Gametrailers and so on. So it`s no new content especially for this like in example the DVDs for Lord of the Rings.
No one said the CE is ****, but it`s average. Is it to hard in modern times to difference a little bit and stop bring this annoying "don`t buy it if you don`t like it"? It`s absolutly normal to criticize something and I think I and others make it in a somehow objective way.

10 bucks is something like 8-8.5 euro. The difference here is cca 20 euro (more specificly, I bought it from Xzone.cz and the difference was 400 Kč which is 18 euro).

Until no other artbook is released it is the full artbook. But it would be definitly very sad if I couldn`t put a second one right by the first.

70 friggin Euro?! That is some overprice I haven´t seen in while, in Slovakia it is 40 euro.

The CE does not come in a nice tin to match the ME1 CE,.. instead it looks like it is in the cheap piece of crap case with a paper slip cover.  Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to getting the game and am happy that I managed to get a pre-order for a CE for the 360, but this will look terrible next to the NICE ME1 TIN.

... also, does anybody know if the retail copy of the comic is larger or are they all small like the one in the CE?
