Once you get this guy finished you should make a placeable version that mimics the pose of the BioWare gargoyle statue. I did this with LoW's version of the gargoyle and it looks great.

And yes, the wings are supposed to be like that. I wanted something that looked more crudely carved from stone because I also use these statues just as static placeables. I also took the liberty of removing the tail from both the placeable and creature versions.

That looks awesome! I just hope you get it in the right direction and it "breaks" as the original one! There are some out there but they are facing some other way, and model modifications break them, or they disappear instead of "shattering".

Ok Gargoyle is done. It a skinmesh and I supered it to my orcus animation so I can have some wing animation. I post some pics and stuff tomorrow.

That's funny. I missed this thread when it was first started, then a few days ago got the urge to make a new gargoyle creature model myself, then I come across this thread with the picture of your finished critter model.
