One of my beta testers pointed out that an Adventurer Robe I had stashed in a chest had no stats. I have tried replacing it, but I keep getting the same problem. The Damage Reduction/Soak item property doesn't show up. The item is listed as being 0 value and you cannot sell it.

So, I decided to load up the OC and write a small script to give my character the default Adventuer Robe. Same problem.

I then went to one of my magic vendors in CrossRoad Keep and looked at the Adventurer Robe she was selling. Same issue. The Damage Reduction is missing and the item sells for 1 gp. After I buy it, it has a value of zero.

Any idea why this is happening? Even in my OC? Can't believe I haven't noticed this before...

So far it's the only item I've seen that has this problem.

yep, broken.

Soak is no longer a property in NwN2. And DR works differently: it's no longer an itemproperty per se, but an item's property of its own class (so to speak). I think you'll find it under Properties, near the itemproperties .. and if you want working Adventurer's Robes (and Belts of resistance, like the Archer's Belt) you gotta make your own blueprint using the new DR rule

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks KevL. I will make blueprints.

For a minute there, thought I was going nuts.

Another item that has Soak is the Asyferund Elven Chain. Be sure to adjust the cost since changing from Damage Resistance to Damage Reduction will increase the base cost.

I already had a few corrected blueprints that I distributed as part of the OC Makeover and MotB Makeover, so I've added these to those and released the entire set to the Vault. It should be there shortly (hopefully). The following blueprints are corrected:

The following blueprints required Icon corrections:

nw_arhe003 Winged Helmet
- changed Icon from it_he_fullplate08 to it_he_fullplate07

x2_it_arhelm03
- changed Icon from it_he_fullplate05 to it_he_fullplate06

The following blueprints required Tint corrections:

x2_it_arhelm01 Paladin Helmet
- changed Tint from [255,255,255][125,167,217][245,241,196] to [255,255,255][247,249,250][247,247,245]

x2_helm_001 Lichskull
- changed Tint from [255,255,255][214,200,182][140,98,57] to [255,255,255][8,8,7][3,2,2]

The following blueprints were broken because Soak does not work in NWN2. Changed to use Behavior Damage Reduction.

nw_mcloth005 Asyferund Elven Chain (Armor Light)
- changed Damage Resistance +1/Soak 5 to Damage Reduction 5/Magical Weapons[+1]
- changed additional cost to -43050 to compensate for base cost increase

nw_mcloth011 Adventurer's Robe (Armor Clothing)
- changed Damage Resistance +1/Soak 5 to Damage Reduction 5/Magical Weapons[+1]
- changed additional cost to -22750 to compensate for base cost increase

The following blueprints were broken because Item Property Damage Resistance only applies to energy damage types. Changed to use Behavior Damage Reduction.

nw_it_mbelt009 Swordsman's Belt (Miscellaneous Clothing)
- changed Damage Resistance Slashing [5/-] to Damage Reduction 5/(Bludgeoning or Piercing)
- changed additional cost to -17090 to compensate for base cost increase

nw_it_mbelt012 Greater Swordsman's Belt (Miscellaneous Clothing)
- changed Damage Resistance Slashing [20/-] to Damage Reduction 20/(Bludgeoning or Piercing)
- changed additional cost to -23438 to compensate for base cost increase

nw_it_mbelt010 Brawler's Belt (Miscellaneous Clothing)
- changed Damage Resistance Bludgeoning [5/-] to Damage Reduction 5/(Slashing or Piercing)
- changed additional cost to -17090 to compensate for base cost increase

nw_it_mbelt013 Greater Brawler's Belt (Miscellaneous Clothing)
- changed Damage Resistance Bludgeoning [20/-] to Damage Reduction 20/(Slashing or Piercing)
- changed additional cost to -23438 to compensate for base cost increase

nw_it_mbelt011 Archer's Belt (Miscellaneous Clothing)
- changed Damage Resistance Piercing [5/-] to Damage Reduction 5/(Slashing or Bludgeoning)
- changed additional cost to -17090 to compensate for base cost increase

nw_it_mbelt014 Greater Archer's Belt (Miscellaneous Clothing)
- changed Damage Resistance Piercing [20/-] to Damage Reduction 20/(Slashing or Bludgeoning)
- changed additional cost to -23438 to compensate for base cost increase

x2_it_mring017 Ironskin Ring
- changed Damage Resistance Piercing [5/-] and Slashing [5/-] to Damage Reduction 5/Bludgeoning
- changed additional cost to 8301 to compensate for base cost decrease

nx1_ring06 Bone Dancer's Ring
- changed Damage Resistance Piercing [10/-] and Slashing [10/-] to Damage Reduction 10/Bludgeoning
- changed additional cost to 52122 to compensate for base cost decrease

n2_itset_mnk2 Grainstone Belt
- changed Damage Resistance Piercing [5/-] and Slashing [5/-] and Bludgeoning [5/-] to Damage Reduction 5/-
- changed additional cost to 60628 to compensate for base cost decrease

n2_itset_rog1 Balhoderie's Softer Skin
- changed Damage Resistance Piercing [5/-] to Damage Reduction 5/(Slashing or Bludgeoning)
- changed additional cost to -29778 to compensate for base cost increase

nw_it_mbelt006 Belt of Inertial Barrier (did not change tag which is probably mistakenly NW_ITEM_000)
- changed Damage Resistance Bludgeoning [5/-] and Slashing [5/-] to Damage Reduction 5/Piercing
- changed additional cost to 7765 to compensate for base cost decrease

x2_it_drowcl001 Drow Piwafi Cloak
- changed Damage Resistance Piercing [10/-] and Slashing [10/-] to Damage Reduction 10/Bludgeoning
- changed additional cost to 10078 to compensate for base cost decrease

I did not include my fixes for Nasher's Set or the MotB Dream Weapon. Those are already posted separately as well as being included in the Makeovers.

I have fixes to the many broken SoZ crafting related blueprints in the Crafting Plus System (which is also included with the Makeovers and available separately.)

Still pending approval in the Vault. I guess I'll add them as an optional upload on the OC Makeover and MotB Makeover since that will be faster, although having them uploaded in multiple places is redundant. My attempt to add them to the Nexus failed as well. I found it to be unstable.

How do you mean it failed or was unstable? I downloaded it from the Nexus on the 2nd.

Under what...? Ahh, blueprints. Ok, approved.

I really don't want to sound whiny, but uploading to the new Vault is so much faster, easier and doesn't require me to guess when there might be something pending (the old Vault never calls me anymore :-( ).

Sorry it took so long. Please PM me here or on the new Vault or email me if you need anything approved over there. Especially during the holidays, I'm quite distracted and rely on friends letting me know when they need something. :-P

I meant the Nexusmods site itself is unstable. My experiences in the last few days uploading to it using the upload wizard have been a nightmare. The site is laggy, gives errors, and is generally unusable.  Hopefully they are making performance improvements.

That's true.  I have noticed some timespans where the site just won't load over the past week or so (except for the forums).  I don't know what's going on.
