Not even once.
Ashley was and indeed still very much is my favourite female character in Mass Effect because she was easily the most human and believable, she had flaws but likeable qualities too. I felt bad having to sacrifice Kaidan but to be honest I never had any problem with saving Ashley every single time.
Seriously I romanced her in every playthrough, and I've played Mass Effect 1 about twenty times, so when you've romanced the same fictional character about twenty times you are probably going to end up liking them somewhat.
Besides Ashley is nowhere near as bad as people claim she is, she isn't some crazy right wing religious nut extremist racist, rather she's just an ordinary person with a toughened attitude who still has a compassionate side and of whom has some flaws and prejudices (that are perfectly rational given her family's history) but has the ability to move past that.
Seriously that's what I see when I look at her and considering I've explored every possible dialouge option that I can with Ashley I can honestly say that the people going crazy with the hate are really just seeing what they want to see.
EDIT: I also find it tragically amusing that so many people are shouting at Ashley for being 'bigoted' (she's not by the way, her distrust of aliens is not based on them being different to humans but rather family history and lack of real experiance working with alien races) but then immediatley also shout out hatred for her on the basis of her being religious. Calling her a crazy religious nut is very harsh when she only mentions once that she believes in god and really what does it say about people complaining about a character being a bigot if they then reveal that they themselves are bigotted about people who are religious?
