Particle Rifle X with capacity mod or Harrier, OR hurricane, if I had to choose one gun to start over with nothing from out of all of those, i'd actually choose the particle rifle

There's no answer to this.

There are a few poor weapons, but a mix of characters and good players can make most of the weapons viable.

Best wepons for me are the BW, Typhoon, Pirhana, Eagle, Crusader, Incisor,..........etc.

Wraith.

Powerful enough for weapon platforms, light enough for power spammers. Useful at any range, good sustained DPS, can one-shot most mooks, headshot machine. Benefits from reload hiding, can cast powers or dodge between shots without drop in ROF. Excellent ammo applier, excellent ammo capacity. Benefits from ROF and accuracy boosts, but doesn't require them to shine. Shiny.

Definitely the most well-rounded weapon, no weaknesses at all.

There isn't a single one for me that I can pick out and say is best, but there are many to choose from that can be highly effective.

 

Sniper Rifles: Javelin, Black Widow, Widow, Kishock Harpoon Rifle on-host, Valiant.

Assault Rifles: Adas Anti-Synthetic Rifle, Falcon, Harrier, Lancer, Saber, Typhoon, Particle Rifle.

SMGs: Blood Pack Punisher, Collector SMG, Hurricane.

Shotguns: Raider, Geth Plasma Shotgun, Claymore, Piranha, Reegar, Wraith, Crusader, Venom.

Pistols: Acolyte, Arc Pistol, Executioner Pistol, Talon, Eagle, Scorpion.

 

The weapons listed above are personal preference for me though, so take that as you will. Although, if I had to pick one out of all them as my favorite?...hmm. Would be a tie between Arc Pistol and Raider probably.

Depends on the set up ... if you put me in a small room with 4 enemies then the answer is the Reegar .. and it's not even close

 

Other than that IMO the Talon is the best overall gun and works on every kit in the game without problem

 

Wraith, Harrier, Hurricane, Acolyte, Javelin & Venom are the other contenders (Note: IMO the Javelin & Venom require excellent skill to be good with)

Your confused. That is the Venom you speak of, Arc Pistol is nowhere near as mainstream as Venom as I only see Arc Pistol on my kits.
