If the trailer is being honest about the movie, sounds like it'll be what I've been missing from Star Trek.

Chris Nolan is brilliant. Even if it is a bit of a dud, it will still be much better than Fast & Furious 7 or R.I.P.D. or whatever garbage is currently in theaters

Ironically, Christopher Nolan's weakest movies are the Dark Knight trilogy, which are for what he is best known. I'm glad he is not doing any more superhero or comic book movies. They are a waste of his talents.

I love that trailer and the sentiments expressed in it. I don't consider myself a big Chris Nolan fan, but the trailer has me interested.

The trailer kind of reminded me of these vids:

While I somewhat disagree with Chong and definitely think The Dark Knight is one of his better films worthy of appreciation -- I do, however, agree that it's good that he's moved away from this comic book stuff and back to interesting new ideas.

I feel the same. I like that he goes back to making films like Memento and The Prestige.

Probably his best two movies.

Personally, I can't say he's made a bad film yet, but if I had to make a call, I'd say Inception is probably his weakest film, while still being pretty awesome.

I think Interstellar looks great, kinda different from his other stuff.

Also, Inception is probably my favorite Nolan film. Memento is a VERY close second

Protip : The protagonist will probably have a psychological problem in true Nolan fashion.

Memento is my favorite.

One can only hope. I mean, it's basically Rust in space.

Is this movie any good? It has good score and reviews, but no one seems to watch it!

I enjoyed 2010 quite a bit. I never sought it out, didn't seem like anyone had seen it or liked it... but I happened to catch it one night and enjoyed it. I've watched it several times since. It's a good film to look at, & is kind of married to Sean Connery's Outland in visuals. I guess it's still a pretty relevant film, because it focuses on the abilities of Americans and Russians to work together in the face of something much bigger than the petty squabbles of old politicians from another time. Hal's creator also joins the film, & it brings a completely different perspective to Hal's previous actions.
