Because I almost always play with a custom party or solo, I've sidelined the NPCs without really experiencing their banter or quests. My aim is to do a few runs and try get through all that with various combinations that might be hilarious/precarious. I know Korgan and Mazzy go well together, and Edwin is hilarious with everyone (tried to pick him up in Nashkel with a CHA of 3, his opening line is brilliant), but who would you guys recommend for a fun, involved NPC experience? Also open to mod suggestions, I have a mind to take Angelo and Sarevok on a walk at some stage.
